I want to start by saying I have frequented this spa for a long time now and every other time I’ve been there I’ve received work that has been high quality. This has been my only bad experience and I share this so that the nail technicians can be aware.

Two days ago I had a mani/pedi at the spa and the gel manicure I received was partially down my nails, making it look like I have a lot of outgrowth. Additionally, one of the nails is already peeling up. I did come in last thing of the day and I understand if the techs felt rushed because of that. I was really excited about the manicure and didn’t take a good look in the spa, which I should have so that they could fix the manicure.

Everything else about the experience was fabulous, though. My pedicure looks amazing and everyone was very very nice.

It’s important that techs starts the gel polish as far back on the nail as they can. It elevates the quality of the work. And it’s important to get every step of the nail preparation right so that there isn’t gel lifting within two days of being applied.

I look forward to returning in the future but I will be a little bit more discerning so that this doesn’t happen again. It’s disappointing….

Nice atmosphere and friendly staff. I got a mani pedi 3 days ago. Within 24 hours the gel on my left thumbs started peeling. I called to let them know I was coming to get it fixed, but that night the parking lot was completely packed and it was pouring rain, so I decided to leave and the peeling wasn’t that bad, so I’d be ok.

But the next day two other nails on my other hand began peeling. It is now day three and I need another manicure….

We had a large bridal party, unfortunately things change when you have that many people, Unique Nails Salon took a walk in group first thing in the morning when it wasn’t as busy. First time. They did a decent job but for $65… I don’t know. I was a bit grossed out because they had used an old file on me. Which is illegal because it can cause infections and diseases. When given a hand massage the nail techs hands were covered in acrylic dust and I was very grossed out and I would’ve passed on it and I had told her I had to get home and she still proceeds to put lotion on me. I probably won’t be coming back to this one….

My sister frequents this nail salon often as a go-to and absolutely loves coming here due to their friendly nature, great service, & doing their best to accommodate, communicate, & check with you to make sure you are leaving with what you asked for. They are also very welcoming even if I wasn’t there to get my nails done. A little heads up that their English might not be smooth, but honesty & showing what you want goes a long way.

I did not get my nails done here, however I decided to accompany my sister while she got her nails done and unfortunately witnessed a nightmare customer that I had only seen on tiktok as “Karens”. She walked in before my sister did.
I heard her demand a refund & threaten that she was going to post a bad review (I already see her review from a day ago; initials J.C.) and report the business to the Better Business Bureau?? Even after the staff tried to calmly communicate and offer to fix her problem at least twice… but she adamantly refused and kept interrupting the poor nail tech.

So here I am, defending this business & the poor quiet nail tech lady because I felt so bad for not speaking up against the Karen lady in the moment for her rude & unacceptable behavior as an grown adult.

This lady storms in and was with her young daughter and was just out of line & acting extremely entitled. I wish I reacted fast enough to record her to post as evidence or on tiktok but I was just so dazed at her outburst & the ridiculous things she said.
“God is here by my side as my witness”
“I have brain cancer, I need this money back”
“It’s my daughter’s birthday, you’re making her cry”
“No, no, you need to stop interrupting ME!” as the lady proceeds to be the one interrupting & yelling in the nail tech’s face who was trying to calmly accommodate her??

Sad to say, in the end the nail tech ended up just giving the lady her demanded refund IN CASH & upfront after the lady’s constant berating, entitled excuses, & deflecting any kind of communication or conflict resolution from staff. The nail tech said she was only refunding the money for the daughter who was clearly young & whose birthday it was; NOT because of the entitled parent who was setting an awful example for her child regarding conflict resolution.

May God justly protect this business & any other business or staff from such unjust, Karen behavior. Just because a customer paid for a service & aren’t getting what they believe they deserve in their own mind. Sometimes the customer isn’t always right… but it doesn’t mean the staff or business is always in the wrong. Healthy communication to align on values & expectations goes a longggg way.

Tip: Maybe try giving constructive feedback or don’t come back again after you receive what you believe to be sub-par service if you’re so unhappy instead of coming back to make other people feel how unhappy you are & making a huge scene?…

Very clean establishment with professional staff that did exactly what I wanted. I was a walk-in on a Monday afternoon, was greeted and seated immediately, I wanted an overlay to protect my real nails, Sophia was able to do exactly what I asked, I was originally charged $50 with an extra $10 because I wanted more than one color, but since I didn't use nail extensions my total was $55 I tipped $10. Sophia did a great job and I'm looking forward to returning. I think I saw wax there, interested in that. The dust from my nails was causing me to cough, I was offered water, a cough drop and one of the ladies open the front door to help, I just got a mask from my car to help block the dust. Very considerate and kind ladies. The attention to detail that Sophia had really made me feel comfortable with her doing my nails. Recommended and will return….

I wish I could do 0 stars and 0 is not even worth it, this is the worse nail place that I have ever been, I walked in and ask for my SNS to be taken off I explain the manicurist that I don’t want to use the nail trimmer machine after the acetone and she was just ignoring my request not only that she was using the nail filer aggressively towards my nails (as you can see in the pictures)since I didn’t let her use the machine which of course will make her job easier and faster but harmful for my nails, I also told her to leave the wet cotton a little bit longer so it will be easier to be taken off without the need of the nail filer, and she just left and left me with the cotton for more long than is suppose to, I got sick of waiting for her because it was already burning my fingers and started doing it by my self, all the employees that were sitting next to me where just watching instead of offer me help or instead of simply do their job and do the service that I ask for, once I was done I stand up and asked them to charge me for the acetone because that was the only thing they provided in that miserable place and they just charged me the money no even a single apology was given or offered.
I will never be back and I will make sure all my coworkers know about this horrible place if one day they are looking for a Nail place near work, make sure not to go to this one. I should had pay attention to the previous reviews, they were totally right. Great job…

I asked for a full set french tip square shape. The service took almost an hour and half. I’m glad she did not rush but I thought that was a bit long just based off the other salons I’ve been to and requested the same thing. The acrylic was touching my cuticle in a few spots and I feel like the shape is also not square. A few things I liked, I like that they had so many gel polish options. For this being my first time I don’t think I’ll be coming back….

The worst nail experience ever. Not only was I harassed by the girl with the tattoo on her face, she called the police and made up a story of me not paying all while still being serviced by the owner who already discussed she was taking off money for the inconvenience. “Tat Girl” proceeded to tell me “if you don’t have the money then just say that.” With a lot of other provoking and belittling words. All because I told her my nails which would be pictured below was not u to par. Not too mention the First Lady who did the nail put on got up because I told her I didn’t want to pay for long nails so make them shorter. It was literally a mess. Kim was so preoccupied with her personal life that my experience was ok at best. Nice shop with no atmosphere! She was on her phone most of the visit. I felt rushed as she needed to meet her friend for dinner. I left not only disappointed, but the clear coat she put on my nails was all bubbled up when I left.
