I have been to Lee nails in the mall a couple of times and the employees are pretty nice with fair prices. However my recent visit as with the last there weren’t any customers inside and it was 30 minutes until closing. I wanted my nails painted to look like French nails….my real nails not acrylics. So it only takes usually 15 minutes or less to them. The employee that decided to do my nails did not want to paint them like I wanted and I felt like I was pressured into getting them “painted” a solid color which I do not do my nails that way. To each his or her own. The woman that painted them did a terrible job that I could have done at home and they would look better. I got them in white and she chose just flat matte white. I am very disappointed and will not be returning. They also acted like they didn’t want to wait on me even though as I said there were no other customers in the salon. They also were speaking to each other as they all do in their language and about me. That was made obvious. It was just not a good experience for me at all. The last times I went in I didn’t have that problem and the man was nice and courteous and didn’t mind doing what “I”the customer wanted. I mean since I’m paying for them and it’s my nails that I have to look at I should be able to get what I want. Had it of been a different attendant with more knowledge and better service I would have given them more stars from my previous experience. But I will not make the mistake of returning to pay for something I don’t want again. *I will update my review to add that all my other visits here were great and they have always done a great job, just this one visit wasn’t that great of an experience in getting what I wanted….

I sat down in the pedicure chairs the atmosphere seemed nice and the patrons were welcoming. My pedicure tech handed me a pamphlet and I picked my pedi. The tech said the gel right and I said yes. She quoted me the price. I asked for a design the tech said, "no I am in a hurry, I have to go." Every 2 to 3 minutes her child would interrupt to find out when they were leaving. My pedi was over quicker than the people there before me. I then got my mani. The polish chipped an hour out of my service. Below I placed info on my services. Very disappointing. When I went to the register a $40 mani and a $30 pedi came to $104.00 for extra charges I was never informed. The next day Lee nails stated they do not issue refunds. I do not recommend this place for occasions you are needing your nail work to last more than 30 minutes….

My niece came to visit for her 16th birthday, so a group of us cousins and aunts called to ask if we could all come together to get pedicures. They said yes that it was slow. We had a completely terrible experience. There were numerous reasons, but here are a few: the basic pedicure is $30 and it lasted about 15-20 minutes total. They did not trim any of our cuticles or clean the skin from the bottoms of our feet, which is literally why we go to pay for pedicures. None of us (7 people) have a decent job of the polish and I’m going to have to clean them up for us. My cousin picked a spring green color polish and the girl doing her nails started clearly talking bad about the color in her language. She brought over a different color and told my cousin no to the color she picked. We had to argue with her!! All of us are unhappy with our toes now. They tried to upsell us on multiple services which we had to continually decline and it became embarrassing. Even with saying no, the guy doing my niece’s nails said he would give her the scrub for her birthday and then charged us!!!! Her pedicure was the shortest and her tech stopped throughout the entire thing to watch soccer. My aunt asked 4 different ways for a certain nail to be trimmed and her nail is now crooked. The “icing on the cake” was at the end with my cousin with the green polish: her polish was still wet and she told the tech that her shoes would rub her pinkie toe so to please not them on her yet. THE TECH REMOVED HER OWN SHOE AND TRIED ON MY COUSIN’S SHOE BECAUSE SHE CLEARLY DID NOT BELIEVE HER ABOUT THE PINKIE TOE!!!! WHO DOES THAT????!!!!!!! We were so completely shocked!!!! The moral of this story is that we spent over $200 and had a completely terrible collection of pedicures between us all. We do not recommend this salon. P.S. the tech rubbed CUTICLE OIL all over my cousin’s legs and now she has to shower to get it all off. Absolute disaster!!!…

I wanted to get my nails done for vacation, I took a peice of my clothing with me to match a specific outfit. After choosing the color. The nail tech, Annie, was nearing the finish of the last gel coat (I only got gel over my natural nails that I had been growing out), it was time for the seal. Before she sealed, I had mentioned to Annie, who was my nail tech, that my polish was clumpy and goopy. She insisted that it wasn't and started speaking very fast in a different language. She called another tech over and I showed her my nails, she suggested to put sparkle over it and insisted that it was the color I picked out and not the slop job that Annie did. I decided to agreed to try the sparkle (which did not impove it by much). In anger, Annie grabbed the stand my hands were STILL resting on, resulting in them falling to the counter and continued to pack everything with haste shoving all of her equipment in her drawer and demanded that I sit and wait for someone else to do my nails. She expected me to wait AGAIN for someone to be able to finish my nails. Her frustration was evident. I understand that some times people have bad days, and I've never posted a reveiw like this, however I've also never been treated so badly/rude. I called the manager, Nathan, and left my number 3 times within the week, asking him to call me back so we may discuss this incident, however he never called back and was always unavailable. With as expensive as this place is, I expected more from my service. I've also gotten several mediocre pedicures from this place, but never complained, as I understand that they were short staffed and most of the people where new, but never blatantly rude like Annie was. I'll never go back here again. With the direction the world is going now, I'd rather work hard for a service that works hard for me….

Worse experience ever. I asked for a manicure and gel extension. The technician did not give me a manicure whatsoever. She did not prep my hand and simply glued the faux nail to my unprepped nails. When I asked if she was going to take my cuticles off she responded with “yeah I file later” and she sure did. She files my skin raw. Three days later all my cuticle is still there and my nails look awful. It was the most painful nail experience ever. Do not recommend!…

I recently visited Azulene Nail Salon for a manicure and pedicure, and my experience was a mixed bag. Let's start with the positives: their pedicures are absolutely amazing. The attention to detail and the level of care they provide is top-notch. However, when it comes to manicures, particularly acrylic services, I was sorely disappointed. After leaving the salon and taking a closer look at my nails while sitting in my car, I was shocked by the poor quality of the acrylic application. It was evident that corners were cut, and the end result was far from satisfactory.
Dissatisfied with the outcome, I walked back into the salon to request a refund. They wouldn’t refund the $80 for the acrylic nails. Although they offered to fix my nails, I couldn't bring myself to trust them again after the initial disappointment. It's disappointing when a service falls short of expectations, especially when you're paying for quality.
On a side note, I initially requested a design for my nails, but the technician seemed uncomfortable with the idea, so I settled for a solid color with chrome instead. While this wasn't a major issue, it did contribute to the overall feeling of dissatisfaction with the experience.
In conclusion, while Azulene excels in pedicures, their manicure acrylic services leave much to be desired. Proceed with caution if you're considering getting your nails done here, especially if you have specific design preferences….

Absolutely wouldn’t recommend this place at all. I went and got my nails done July 6th. First it was horrible. I had to make the lady redo three of my nails three times. Bc the cow print I asked for was done poorly. Then bc she kept getting bubbles in my nails. It cost me $88 for this set of nails. It is now July 15th. And numerous bubbles on my nails have now popped. And my nails are already growing out. Which is ridiculous. I spent way too much money on these nails for them to look like this 1 week later. I am not happy. Would not recommend this place to anyone. Avoid at all cost….

So, this was my first time going here. I had heard good things about this place but usually go to nail care and spa in Fleming island. Simon did my nails and he was very nice. But these nails look awful and I’m so sad about them because I rarely treat myself. He said the price was so high because it was gel nails but it didn’t look like gel and I didn’t ask for gel.
It looked like pink acrylic he was applying.
He applied it SO thick and uneven. He didn’t do any cuticle work at all. They are bulky, thick and not smooth or shaped well. I have acrylic all over the place and they already feel like they’re lifting at the cuticle. I have polish on my skin, I paid $103 (no tip) for a full set and basic pedicure. The pedicure was fine but Simon seemed to rush through my set and didn’t even file underneath the nail or smooth the nail out. He didn’t have me wash my hands before applying the polish either so the polish was placed right over the file dust and you can see the bumps under the polish. I’m so sad that I didn’t just set an appointment at my usual place. I feel like I over paid for this kind of quality for short nails with no designs. The lady next to me was also very unsatisfied with her pedicure as they left pink residue all over her toes. I unfortunately won’t go back. I’m normally a big tipper but I was so upset about these nails that I just couldn’t justify tipping.

Editing to add, just showered the polish that is supposedly gel, is already messed up and lifted up, it’s all chipped and gross looking. This isn’t normal. AT ALL. and looks horrible….

I unfortunately had an issue with my regular nail salon so I tried this one with the hope of a good outcome. It was awful when I got there a girl was in tears of pain saying that they hurt her they were the only people open so I gave them a try but never again. They don’t listen and extremely pushy and insult you. Terrible job at shaping nails and left me a mess. Around my nails they left gel on my skin and the electric file they used was burning my skin so bad I felt so much pain and like I wouldn’t have any skin left. Came in for a full set and pedicure and left crying. There’s topcoat cured all over my cuticles and fingers, sloppy toe nail paint job, couldn’t do the design I wanted but wouldn’t say that. I asked for a very simple nail design of a clown face, kept telling him things to try and make it more easy or simple for him like he was struggling with doing a frowny face so I said he could just to a smile instead. So he put a straight line. When I asked him to fix that said the other lady that was in the middle of another job would have to do it, at this point I’ve been there over 3 hours and I knew I wasn’t going to get what I wanted reguardless so I just asked to fix a couple of the other mistakes, I had just started crying at this point because I’ve been there so long and this is my only day off, I just wanted to go somewhere to have a pleasant experience and leave feeling pretty, but I left feeling worse than before, feeling like I was the problem for just expecting the service I payed for, wasted my day off and had to pay $100 for it. Insane. Both of them are rude and will talk about you right in front of you. Very unprofessional. I will never return and will tell everyone who mentions trying y’all out this expirence….
