I was surprised that they could take me on a Saturday or Sunday. It was really easy to book an appointment online. You can choose exactly the services you want, from a Russian manicure to a deluxe pedicure. The prices are all online. I was even able to conveniently reschedule my nail appointment via text from last weekend to today.

This salon has a friendly staff with down to earth nail technicians who speak English as well as Spanish. They know the latest looks and are really knowledgeable about modern methods for doing nails. I love the pretty decor, plush and comfortable pedicure chairs, and coffee and tea bar. It’s located in a quiet plaza off Interlake Blvd. near the Purple Iris Tea Room and has parking directly in front of the door.

My manicure and pedicure were low key top notch artistry. It was easy to explain what I wanted on my nails, and Rachel even suggested a creative application of white gel base coat with metallic powder top coat plus crystals on my fourth finger to bling my look a little bit for my upcoming cruise vacation. Then I matched the look with three tiny crystals on my big toe. I love it. This is a hidden gem of a nail salon. I highly recommend!…

I had the volcano pedicure. Very disappointed with this service. The massage was too light-handed, they spilled paraffin so I didn’t get the full foot covered, the blade to remove dead skin did not come from a sterile pack, and neither did the brush they scrubbed my foot with. Gross. The green brush looked very worn. Polish is clumpy and messy. The “tech” barely spoke to me. When the nails were dry and I checked them, I asked why the polish was so bad? They asked if I wanted it fixed now? I’ve already been here over at hour… Like how they didn’t see how bad their polish job was before putting me under the dryer, I don’t even know?!? Also, the packs that they were using we’re not actually sterilized there was moisture in the packs when removed from the top cabinet of the unit. I watched tech place a kit in to be sterilized and the next tech grab the same kit that was just placed in there . It’s also too crowded in the sterilizer with too many packs stacked up. You can not process instruments in layers. Too many packs means bacteria and moisture is trapped. This is not up to safety standards….

Probably one of the worst nail jobs I have had in a long while. My pedicure was fine, but I’ve had these acrylic nails for less than a week, and each and every single nail is already pulling up and catching my hair. I haven’t had time to stop and get an entirely new set; so I’ve been dealing with it.

The line work for the French is mediocre at best, and each of the tips weren’t fully painted in. Unfortunately, I didn’t do a great inspection prior to me getting home and realizing they were all horrible. They are lumpy in several areas, and you can literally see my natural nail through the paint. I would not come back unless you’re only getting gel. This was WITH an appointment too, so they knew I was getting a full new set with French gel….

Not the best, not the worst. I recently moved to this side of town and have been trying to find a new nail salon so I decided to try out Ooh La La. Everyone was very friendly and personable but the quality just wasn’t there. I requested a regular polish change on my toes and SNS change on my nails with chrome powder. My toes weren’t polished very well but it wasn’t the worst I’ve ever had so I didn’t really say anything. I did have to request that she reshape my nails a couple times as two of them were very clearly crooked. She did the almond shape ($6 up charge, which I’ve never seen before so that’s a con as well) like I asked but by the time they were cut down and filed so many times they were much shorter than I usually get/was expecting. The salon has dim lighting so I didn’t notice until I got home that a couple of my nails were lumpy (Was hard to get my camera to focus on my nail, but the lump is clearly visible in person). I may try them again one day if I don’t find another salon I commit to….

They paired me with a new tech Emily and I thought things were good. She did have a terrible attitude at times but I just shrugged it off. Finding somewhere else that will treat me kindly, take my money, and I guess meet "my expectations". The last time I saw my nail tech we tried to layer 2 colors and needed to redo the color which was unfortanate. Then she tried to sit me in a chair that I know has been broken for over a month. I asked to be moved and she seemed pissed off at me the rest of my visit. I always tipped well and treated people kindly. Her nails had to be fixed twice because the first time her nails were so rushed through that it messed up and when we brought it to the techs attention he was rude to her about it. The second time I had to go back in and speak to the owners about the issue. The owner just painted over the messed up nail again and put her under the nail dryer. Now it looks worse.They didn’t try to resolve the issue at all. They charge a lot for nails and they have some staff that is good. But a lot that are rude. The previous time I came in the same tech who did my god daughters nails threw my shoes and purse out in the middle of the floor because he had another customer coming over. I came in today to get a pedicure and a fill in overlay on my toes I spent $90 on just my toes not including a tip. The person who did my pedicure barely scrubbed my feet didn’t put anything in the water advised me for a curve like French tip not straight across look that it was going to be another $15 to get (I don’t like thick French tip only skinny) up charging for French is crazy so I declined I didn’t even get a massage on my feet or a hot towel with my pedicure which was a waste of money. I’ve always had a issue with this salon that’s why I never come here and tried to give them a second chance but you don’t get what you pay for here didn’t even have wine and the liquor store is next door. My toes weren’t even cleaned up when done. I came for my bday I won’t be back highly don’t recommend coming here you can get more for your money at a better salon. The only service I came in for was a basic pedicure and a fill in on my toes as well and it was $90 and I couldn’t even get them the way I wanted because they charge extra for using a different style of brush never in my life had a salon tell me that. Prices need to be adjusted based on services being provided and they don’t match up don’t waste your time coming here . I was looking for a new nail salon I could trust. Popped in for a pedicure. First, the nail tech misshaped my toenails. I’ve never had to exclaim to keep them square. They were rounded so much, the entire sides are gone on my big toe. Second, she did not give me the color I chose. I didn’t realize until I looked up from my phone. I still paid and tipped. However, today (the next day) the gel is lifting up and peeling off. Probably from too manny layers. I don’t think I will be returning as this was a very important occasion I needed them done for….

Asked for blonde highlights but myself and several people say it really looks like I'm letting my gray come in. Login was very very sweet and she took before and after pictures with the promise of sending those pictures to my phone. 6 days later she still has not sent them. Not sure if why?? Will I give them another chance? Probably. Hopefully to fix the white hair for a blonde highlight. I hope to share my before and after pictures if I ever get them….
