This isn’t the first time that I personally didn’t like the way the nails are done, yes I’m picky with my nails but if I’m paying and at the price I’m being charged I expect the job to be done how I want and correctly. The gentleman who did my nails everytime I mentioned something I didn’t like or what I actually wanted he would catch an attitude about it as if I was asking for too much . I showed him pictures of how I like my nails to be done and said it twice how I like them thinner at the ends as they’re supposed to be coding and a thinner too instead of those thick looking nails he did. Because I have high anxiety and had already mentioned what I wanted and how I wanted and felt ignored , I told him to leave them as they were. He caught an attitude once again and still they charged me $60 which he took $5 off because I guess he seen I wasn’t pleased but 55 !? For thick, not coffin or what I wanted nails ? It’s ridiculous because tbh I would’ve just wished he removed them and charge me nothing for them at this point . I won’t be going back and will be telling my family the same. He did my sister in law nails before and ML and it was the same thing , if other people enjoy the way he does it , great that’s their liking . But me personally I refuse to pay expensive amount of money for something I don’t like. I am literally so mad but I have manners and didn’t want to get out of character, he honestly has a bad attitude and last time even threw on my face how he’s a professional and knows what he’s doing but yet here we are with non coffin, thick, and uneven nails, if y’all look at the middle finger nail it’s literally crooked but I was already anxious to even mention anything else. And the fact that they knew I wasn’t satisfied and still charged me this much for putting some acrylic on top of the tips is WILD. Learned my lesson once again, don’t cheat on your nail guy but mine is so far I had no choice but to try them again, because I heard Mimi was really good but I have never had my nails done by her personally so idk but now I’m scared to go back to anybody in there at this point . 😔 y’all look at the pictures ! The THICKNESS , THE SHAPE !, AND THE CROOKED, I’m so disappointed. I even gave him a chance but when I seen he asked me for the pic of what I wanted and he was ready to throw on polish on these condition I was like nah just cash me out. 🙄…

One person was doing nails for a lady when we got there at 8:40 and at 9:15 no other staff had shown up. Mimi without advising my sister, canceled her appointment and changed it to a different time without warning, my sister And when confronted about this, Mimi said it was because her client prior to my sister was running a bit behind when my sister called to make sure she wasn’t gonna lose the $40 and her appointment was still secure a gentleman by the name of Steven answered the phone and told her to shut up and he couldn’t talk to her and that he wasn’t going to be helping her and that she needed to wait for a manager and then proceeded to hang up the phone my sister then ended up driving to the salon and when she got there, Steven proceeded to demean her, and Mimi was there did not acknowledge anything. There was a woman there Hispanic lady who was very sweet to my sister and then Mimi told my sister to go wash her hands had her sit down and then proceeded to call my sister sensitive, ended up arguing with her because she was being too sensitive about the situation She said it wasn’t her fault that her client was running late, which my sister proceeded to say it’s not her fault either and that it shouldn’t have been changed without asking her because she had some stuff to do that day yet she still made the time to come in while she was sitting in the chair, Mimi continue to demean my sister and tell her that she was sensitive, and she doesn’t know why she’s bringing this all up again and then proceeded to not do her nail. She said she couldn’t do her nails anymore because she was too stressed out, they don’t care about you here and they overcharge and Mimi was very rude and Steven needs to get fired because he does not know how to talk to people and if Mimi can’t handle the “stress” then maybe she shouldn’t have a business. And we have video proof of how Mimi and Steven were both reacting and talking to my sister see how defensive they get when you post a review calling them out claiming they have video proof bet post the proof let’s see who’s lying and post the conversation on the phone since you guys record everything let’s see who’s lying. I went in for a pedicure and manicure. Todd was very gentle on my pedicure and then made a recommendation to get a full set done instead of a gel manicure because I told him my gel usually only lasts about a week due to having very thin nails. Update: 3rd time going. If you get pedicures, you will be offered water or a soda. Took my husband. I treated him to a mani-pedi. I got a pedi with gel and Ombré Fill with art work. Elsa was my nail this time…Mimi was away on vacation… Elsa did a great job…Very pleased.
Also need to give props to Nancy who did my husbands mani pedi and Sonny who did my pedi… THANK YOU ALL for a wonderful relaxing time!…

Clean and has more seats than it seems from the outside. Lots of colors in all styles. I made an appt and there was no issue with them fitting me in with short notice but they also take walk-ins, you just have to be patient and wait until a tech is available.

The pedicure was great! I’m very satisfied with the results. The reason I’m giving 3 stars is because my dip manicure is not holding up well. I get dip manicures because I work with my hands a lot and need something sturdier. I’m quite disappointed that after only a week the dip is starting to lift and the clear coating is starting to peel. I try to be as gentle as possible with my nails, but if I’m paying for something that is supposed to be durable, then I would like it to last longer than a week. Aside from that, my experience was good. The space was clean, even though it was very busy when I went. Each staff member I interacted with was very nice and my nail tech was very kind and respectful. I just wish the dip was more durable and lasted longer….

It’s an overall nice place but Tammy who did my nails, rushed the entire process. There’s acrylic under my nails that she didn’t file or clean off that’s now gripping onto all the stitching of my clothing. Some pieces broke off and left a chip in the nail. I also noticed no new sanitized tools were used. Looks like the same cuticle pusher and clippers that were sitting on desk from prior appointments were used on me and on prior clients which is awful and could spread bacteria from one client to another. The pedicure however, new tools were used which someone else did.

Overall probably won’t go again especially since I spent so much money for a rushed job. I saw Kim on the other hand taking her time and working diligently with client. Wish I had her instead….

I went here with a friend a little over a week ago for a pedicure and a fill. The polish on my nails is already chipping (one actually chipped off 3 days after visit). There were several issues with our visit:
This is not my regular salon but my friend wanted to try them out again. Since she had made appointments two weeks in advance you would think they would be properly staffed. Usually when you make an appointment the salon should try their best to accommodate you to be seen together. At the very least for the pedicures. Instead I watched her get her nails done, then she went for her pedicure. Since my nails took longer my friend sat and watched me for 30 minutes after her pedicure. The other odd thing is Tracy was half way done with my nails then moved me to the pedicure chair. When done with my pedicure she then finished my nails by having me turn awkwardly while she attempted to do my nails while I sat in the pedicure chair (perhaps this is why they are chipping already). When my friend went to have her pedicure the gentleman didn’t even ask her what kind she wanted and gave her the standard pedicure (when she would have preferred one with a scrub and wax).
To me, going to the salon is having the “experience” of being pampered. Instead, it felt like we were being rushed through, as they kept getting up and down to do other things.
If you have appointments scheduled then have proper staffing. Don’t make your customers feel like they are a bother.
I will not return to this spa. I have been a loyal client at Love Nails in the Oaks Mall plaza and will return there to have my nails redone properly. Hannah and her staff are polite, personable and you never feel rushed. I only went here because my friend treated me and she picked this salon. I feel she should be given a refund for my nails, as this was not quality work. An acrylic fill should last a minimum of 4 weeks if not longer….

I would give a zero if Google would allow. This was the worst experience I've had in a nail salon. They first sat me to do a pedicure and then after sitting for more than 15 mins they decided to dry my feet and send me for what should have been a fill on my nails. The guy sat down and reeked of beer so bad I mentioned it and he puts a mask on them proceeds to big my nails he was literally burning my fingers when I pulled my hand away because they were on fire he says look how hard I'm working here. Then proceeds to continue to grind them even further. The lady owner comes over I complained and she switched spots with him to finish my nails. The acrylic is so thick, completely uneven and it took longer for just the full on my nails than it took for my 2 daughters to get both pedicures and fills. Definitely will never recommend this place to anyone.
My 1 daughters pedicure left her feet rougher than before, when you leave from having a pedicure your feet should feel at its very best that's not the case in this salon. For 3 people to come in and all 3 walk out very unsatisfied with the worst quality experience ever in a nail salon this place really needs to reevaluate the way things are done here. Not to mention the constant nonstop family arguments between the owner and their daughter not any kind of ambiance what should be a relaxing experience….

Rinsing supplies off, soaking in for a few minutes in a solution, does not constitute sanitary in today's age. my big toe was tore up by the cheese grater they used to remove calluses. I am still in pain with it, I should've gone to see a doctor. It's been two weeks since my Pedi and I just pulled another sliver of skin off. My math, 2 $35 pedi's should be $70, not $75. One coat of clear coat, is not the sign of the professional nail salon. I've paid less and gotten a base coat, two coats of color, then a clearcoat. The place is a rip off and unsanitary….

Called on a Friday right before closing and asked how much a fill in was. I was told it was $25 by Jackson the “manager”. Came in for my appointment at 1000 and was asking to change the color. The tech was confused and got the manger. He leaned over the station and was in my face and spoke loud enough for the entire salon to hear and he said to me” you can go all over Jacksonville and try to get a fill in, where you get fill in for $25? I said $35 and up!” He was very rude and embarrassed me in front of the whole salon. I was trying to explain that I didn’t want the ombré again and that I didn’t understand why it was $40 for something I wasn’t asking for and I wanted regular polish. I will NEVER GO BACK HERE. I have never been treated this way by a salon for asking questions about their services. Very unprofessional as he continued to chastise me as I walked out. The pics are the nails I wanted to get redone, I didn’t want the pink and white again. I wanted them filled in and painted as the brown shown below.

Update: went to Callahan nails and got a fill in plus new polish for $28. Much nicer than “Star” Nails…
