This place is hit or miss. The last 4 times have been total miss, and I'm finished with coming here and cant recommend. Firstly I had an ombre full set put on and all the nails were mishapened, dented, too thick, too thin. 3 of them needed to be replaced in a week. The next visit was to take the nails off and to do a mani and Pedi. They put my entire hands in bags filled with harsh nail polish remover. My hands are still recovering. Then every nail was done terribly without all acrylic being removed and an abrasive manicure overall. I had to return a few hours later and have someone else remove the acrylic properly. Next time I specifically requested no machine or scraping be done on cuticles but to have them cut. Which alot of places cut corners and don't do it. An English speaking worker , forget her name, came and did it for me and it was a great manicure. But my pedicure was done with polish that was obviously no good because it wouldnt full dry. Now today I start before I even sit down to repeat that I want the cuticles cut, only cut. She starts using the machine, ignoring me and saying " file then cut " … I said it again , she repeated herself. Then the polish I originally wanted was obviously expired but the tech didn't admit that herself and correct the issue even tho it was obvious . I had to finally stop her. Lyn came over and blamed it on being neon color and then said all neons like this, which isn't true as I've used these colors for years. Then she said it's happening because it's expired maybe… But only after I was told to pick another color that also looked expired. There were a lot of bottles which appeared to have gone bad. When the same thing happened I objected and told her to clean my nails completely off. I was done. I got up to pay and asked them to take something off since I couldn't get them painted. They insist it's same price polish or not, but obviously I wanted polish and couldnt complete the service because of their expired products and bad service. They made every excuse. Not only do I come weekly, I always tip well. I was prepared to walk out without paying and let them call police… My cuticles and nail and skin are all damaged. Definitely didn't get the service I wanted and was forced to pay for! You can see for yourself the polish on my pedicure was expired. And you can see the nails look worse than when I came in. The photos prove the cuticles weren't cut and abrasive techniques were used. As well, nothing is sterilized or opened new which is legally required, it is very unhygenic in there….

Beware! They will not admit when they've done wrong. My daughter went there and showed them a simple picture. My daughter is too timid to confront anybody, but she showed them a picture of coffin style nails and flowers painted on both hands. They immediately cut them round on her. She asks them why they did that and they said they could not fix it now. They even ended up making her bleed. Then they refused to paint The flowers on both hands. $55 later, my daughter left for absolutely not what she asked for. So I called them. I felt very conflicted on whether to post this review, but the last several times I’ve been into Nail Time it has been a very different experience than the ones prior.

My daughter and I have been getting our nails done there for the past few years. We don’t have a specific technician as we’ve been pleased with them all, and Jenny seems to always have a wait. We even celebrated my daughter’s birthday last year with a group of her friends getting pedicures there and it was great, but today’s experience was enough to not return.

I got my usual gel hot stone pedicure and gel manicure. I’ve noticed the last few times, that one person will start the pedicure and then at the very end, when only the nails need to be painted, another person will come over to complete. The second lady, the finisher if you will, painted all over my toes and then proceeded to clip the excess paint off instead of taking a paint brush and clean them off. This second lady started on my gel manicure. She cut my nails too short, and when I noted they were too short after the first few, she told me that they were uneven and needed to fix. During the manicure she spilled nail polish remover all over the station. She painted my nails fairly quickly, never took the time to clean up with a smaller paint style brush around the cuticles. I asked her to fix multiple nails at least two times, one at least three times, before I realized it was not going to get better. She told me that she couldn’t fix bc my nails were too small (which I told her she was cutting too short), and that my fingers were too dry and she couldn’t do better. I just wanted her to finish. I paid and she asked if I had cash for tip, which I provided for the very first person who did 90% of the gel pedicure. I paid and left with no intention of returning. After reading some of these reviews and the Google ones, I’m glad I didn’t waste more time in trying to get it fixed. I came home and every nail was easily peeled up in one stroke. I’ve never had this technician before but I hope that no one else has the same experience as me….

Pedicure was fine. Manicure was thick and clumpy. I went back the next day and explained to the lady that I had gotten my nails done last night and that they really needed to be redone. When I was seated with the nail tech from the night before they proceeded to put more coats on top. I explained they all need to be redone. Putting extra coats does not fix it. I ended up trying to leave only to be grabbed from across nail table. I asked to be let go and I pulled away and walked out. Both my daughter and I went in for mani and pedi. Went over the bridge to Julington creek for a color change. I won’t be back….

If I had to be exact. I would give Nail Time a 4.5, but there was so much going on here, it is easy to round up.

First, make a reservation, they have a lot of technicians but they get booked up, so call ahead.

Second, they have these small rooms of four chairs for pedicures. It is perfect for small groups or girls (or guys) day out.

Third, I found the prices to be competitive and some of the pedicure packages to be really interesting, but mostly normal fare.

Why the .5 deduction? Well I paid for a reflexology and there was no reflexology going on during my pedicure. It was good, yes, and there was special care taken for some of my special foot needs, but just no reflexology. :(…

The powder job on my nails is not smooth, she didn’t clean my nails well, and didn’t take the powder evenly to the base of my cuticles across my nails. I didn’t want to embarrass the tech so I called immediately after walking out to request a portion of the money paid; they refused. Offered for me to come back so they could “fix it” but I communicated several times while she was in the process of doing my nails that they did not look finished. Not to mention that my daughter and I had already spent two hours in the nail salon, and my daughter was hungry and tired. Pedicure was also not good; it was rushed and quick, “massage” was all of five seconds. Too many other salons in the vicinity to waste your time, and money, here. Walk a few more steps or drive another minute away for better treatments and services. Bad business. I would not recommend….

My daughter went here today per her roommate's suggestion. Unfortunately, she had a terrible experience. Not only were the gel nails thickly applied and lumpy, the technician failed to cut the cuticle and left polish all over the skin. Despite her dissatisfaction, she still left a 20% tip.

She immediately called me from the car and explained the situation. I told her to go back in and ask them to remove the gel nails. The owner was rude and refused, and told her the paint would come off in the shower. She ended up going to Venus nail salon and they fixed her nails for $10 plus tip. My college age daughter does not recommend this nail salon….

As someone that was referred by a friend, I made an appointment with Anna. After waiting 30 minutes, I was instructed to go to Cassie. I expected my expectations to be met however they were not. Though Cassie was very kind and tried her very best, I was not happy with my dip nails and I was still charged full price. I’m not sure why I wasn’t given to Anna as my appointment was specifically with her (which I mentioned multiple times), however what I paid for the designs were not worth it. They were not precise and they my nails were clumpy after the designs. My toes, which has never ever happened before were clumpy and not filed straight as well. They had specks of my nails which showed that the nail wasn’t smooth before being painted. Sadly disappointed with my services however, workers are kind.

Edit: My nails ended up breaking and chipping in less than a week. I ended up going back on for repair and Anna accommodated me. Her designs were precise and cleaner. She was so very sweet and her work is absolutely amazing — she served amazing customer service!…

I am blown away by chino’s work! He is so talented and pays attention to the little details. I did show up a few minutes late and they still accommodated me no problem. They were friendly and we had great conversation. I’m really fidgety and had a ton of coffee before apt and he was still so patient with me moving and bumping nails. It had been a few months since I had a pedi and my feet are sooooo soft! I got the explosion pedi and the products are amazing and smell so good. The salon normally closes at 7 and he even kept it open until 9 to finish my service. The salon is super clean and chino and his wife were such good vibes. I’m so glad my friend referred me I had been going to another salon in altamonte (Jasmine- DONT recommend) and was constantly disappointed with my mani/pedis. Chino blew it out of the water. He is pricier than some salons, but his work is literal perfection! The products are great, so many color choices and I guarantee he can do almost any design choice. I love his banter and honesty. 100% my new salon love this place.

Ignore any negative reviews I disregarded them and am so so so happy I went!

I’m giving 2 stars because my mom said her experience was better than mine. The lady cut the skin under my pinky nail for starters so it bled and hurt like heck. I changed chairs 3 times until they finally figured out who would simply TAKE OFF (soak off) my nails. Apparently that’s a big deal there. My pedicure was ok. It doesn’t come with basic skin removal so that was weird to me. They do however come with a “free manicure”. No clear polish was added to my nails after she finished taking them off. She didn’t even ask if I wanted a color even though I had just had my pedicure completed. Idk I just felt rushed. Although I left a good tip I won’t be back and I won’t be recommending anyone to them….

They treated my daughter like a princess, since we were getting Manis and pedis for her birthday, and she was very happy with the results.
