I walked into this salon for an impromptu pedicure while in the area running errands. The pedicure started out ok; turned on the massage chair, warm water, sugar scrub and all that. Then the guy gets into the actual painting of the nails. I don’t know if it was an old dried out polish or that he just didn’t care to pay attention to detail, but I I’m pretty sure I could have done a better job with my eyes closed. Ok ok…I exaggerate. But, when I decide to pay someone to paint my nails, I expect they are going to do a good job of it. The consistency was uneven; thicker in some places, thinner in others. I felt bad for the guy and I don’t like complaining, but for $44, I had to say something. So he comes over and takes off the old polish and starts to repaint them…with the SAME OLD DRIED OUT POLISH. I suggested that maybe this polish is a little older and we can try a different one. So we go with a new bottle of polish. The second time around is better, I’ll give him that. But he’s clearly irritated, doesn’t make eye contact, doesn’t respond or say anything, just points where he wants me to go when he’s done. By now I’m just sorry I came in, and I make it clear that I’m not going to pay $44 for this service. The man who did my pedicure doesn’t even acknowledge that I’m still in the salon. The older lady near the front gives me a sob story about needing to pay rent and electricity and no we don’t give refunds. She points to the sign on the wall stating “all sales are final”. Convenient. I told her that I’m more than willing to pay for the service I received, but that I did not receive a $44 level of service. Mind you, I wasn’t asking for a refund, simply a discount for spending the last 2 hours of my life on an initially botched and “just ok” pedicure.
Ladies: There are a thousand different places you could go to get your nails done. My suggestion: skip this one.

I stopped in this nail salon to get a quick fill and eyebrows. The woman who seemed to be the owner, immediately snapped at me that “they don’t do eyebrows”. I accepted that and still wanted a fill. I asked to see the nail color charts, but was specifically looking for a bright yellow.

They only had 2 and when I asked if they had any other yellows, she snapped at me again, “That’s all we have!” I told her thank you, and left. I won’t return, the vibe was completely off in that nail salon….

The other reviews are true….. the owner lady that goes by Kim is very rude. She had 2 verbal arguments with customers within the 20-30 minutes i was in the salon today.
She tried to lie about not doing eyebrows to a lady who has previously gotten her brows done there. I think she was feeling lazy or in a bad mood.

I will say the guy that worked on my nails was nice and did a fine job. But because of my interaction with Kim when i came in i decided just to get my nails removed and not redone here because i didn’t want to give them any business. (I did tip him well & i hope he doesn’t have to share it)…

Disclaimer my picture is after several weeks so a little grown out but I want to rave about Ruby and this salon. I am only visiting but my most of nails done at my hometown salon were lifting or separating. It seems my nail beds are too oily for what my previous tech put on me which she called powdered acrylic. So after researching nail salons I decided to go with Mystic and I called first to explain my situation. Ruby double checked with someone and agreed that my last set was not the right product for me. Fortunately Ruby got me in that same day. I made sure to explain that my natural nails are very thin so I was worried about how painful it might be to replace them. But she was extremely delicate and kept checking on me constantly to make sure she wasn't hurting me. She was very detailed too. The salon was clean and staff very friendly. There also seemed to be several regular customers which is a great sign. I look forward to visiting Ruby one more time for a fill and pedicure before leaving the area….

I waited over an hour and a half. They had me playing musical chairs at different stations because they didn’t want to turn customers away for the long wait. They wouldn’t give anyone an approximate wait time. I finally got in a chair and the man helping me didn’t look at my nails and just assumed I wanted gel polish. Once he started I told him I wanted color powder he just starts putting a mess on my hands. I told him I don’t like it and he was like you just go. I offered to pay and he started yelling that my nails aren’t done and he can make them better. I told him I will pay and be done. Long story short, GO ELSEWHERE!…

I have been going to this nail salon for a couple years. I usually never leave reviews for places, but this morning I had the worst encounter I’ve ever had at a nail salon. I went in to get my nails redone from the day prior because I was not satisfied with how my nails turned out. I spent $60 on my nails and I felt as though the nails that I got were not worth that much. I was not rude at all and came in willing to pay whatever I had to pay to get them redone. LINH refused to do my nails again and told me that I was “rude” and “blaming” her for the outcome of my nails. Another short older gentleman then proceeded to tell me to leave the shop. I spent 5 minutes trying to reconcile and express that I just wanted my nails redone and I was not satisfied (not to mention that I stated multiple times that I was not trying to come off as rude). I will not be returning, this is not how you do service. If I could leave 0/5 stars, I would….

But they are severely understaffed while I was getting my pedicure my nail tech stopped mid way to go and work on another client who came in after me! My manicurist came over to me to start on my manicure while I was still in the chair getting my feet done. This review is for the Fancy Nails 2 located at the Pine Forest and Mobile Hwy shopping center. I have been here before with okay results and experience. However my last experience was horrible and I will never go back. I arrived to get a pedicure was seated immediately. The tub was filled with cold water. The girl started on my right foot. She trimmed my nails crooked. As she buffed them most the time she was buffing my toes not my toe nails. As she trimmed my cuticles she was cutting off my skin around my toes. She did this to my right foot then proceeded to do the callus remover. She then proceeded to my left foot to do the callus remover then scrubbed my left foot with a purple pad. The she started to put lotion on my legs. This is when I had had enough and stopped her and told her she hadn't done my nails on the left side or scrubbed my right foot with the purple pad. She aloe never cleaned under my nails on the right foot or filed them after trimming them crooked. I said I'm going to leave now and go somewhere else. Also I had been there in the chair an hour and this is all that was done. I should have been finished in an hour as I was the only customer getting a pedicure. I offered $10 for the girls time even though she had done a horrible job and the lady that owns the store tried to tell me to pay $15. I said your crazy. I shouldn't be paying anything! I gave the $10 and left to go somewhere else to get it done right. The owners didn't even care what was wrong, offer to fix it or apologize. This was the worst experience ever and I will never go back nor do I recommended anyone go here. If I could give this place zero stars I would!…

I shopped around other nail salons around North Pensacola and this one is by far the only right choice for location, cleanliness, price and attention to detail. It's no wonder they're packed out the door every Saturday. I try to come early on Saturdays or make it before lunch on a weekday or else I'll be waiting 30+ minutes, but it's not for lack of employees! People just flock here because they're AWESOME….

10/10 do not recommend.
I arrived here at 11:00am and didn’t leave out until 1:45. This is the longest I ever sat for a refill and a pedicure. To top it off once it came time to pay I realized the ladies were discussing my pricing and didn’t seem sure about it. I was charged $70 for my refill because I got a gel line and $55 for my pedicure which was normal. For the service, and the time taken I will not recommend this place.

I just want to start off by saying that this nail shop obviously chooses their prices as they go! I will NEVER go back there because my service was HORRIBLE. For starters I took my 3year old daughter to get her nails and toes polished in the midst of her service the lady who was doing her nails killed a roach, laughed about it and continued the service as if nothing happened. After the service the owner charged me $45 in total for a child’s nails and toes to get polished NO MANI OR PEDI just polish! I don’t even wanna end to say how long the service took, -0/10 I don’t recommend this nail shop is a RIP OFF….

I went here for a polish change for my nails and toes (both gel). The gel polish was chipped by the next day as they use some brand of polish I’ve never seen in other salons—they used some brand called xoxo (they don’t have DND). They polished my toes underneath the desk and honestly my child probably could have done a better job of staying on the nail. It ended up resulting in me getting a nail fungus on my big toe. Not sure if it was a result of dirty tools/hands (neither of them used gloves), or the lack of them making sure to spray alcohol before painting but I’ve pretty much lost my nail. The husband did my hands and the wife did my feet. I was the only person there that morning and they seemed completely inconvenienced. It was $50 for gel polish changes, no acrylic or tips or anything. I would NEVER go here again….
