My tech was super sweet, as were the other staff I talked to. My appt was only a few minutes behind the schedule. The pictures of my toe nails are only a few hours after getting them done, one toe was not squared and the polish wasn't fully to my cuticles, and a little bumpy on a couple had a few friends already asking if i just actually had got them done.
My truck also got hit (and run) in their parking lot, I reached out to the Salon to see if they had cameras and no one has yet to respond/get back to me.
So now I have a tore up bumper and not the greatest paint job on my nails either. I was hoping they would reach out with any response as to the camera situation as to why i gave it a couple days before submitting my review….

I went to Nikki’s after a friend of mine raved about them to me. I went in for acrylics but was talked into the Apres instead, on the bases that it lasts longer, and it feels lighter. I told the nail tech, (who was amazing by the way) that I worked with my hands, and I also have my hands in water a lot. For this reason I usually do acrylics because they last me a good 3-4 weeks… however, I was still ushered into getting the Apres nails. Anyways, a week later and my nails are already popping off. It really was upsetting because I paid a good amount of money for them, so it was quite a let down when I wanted acrylics to begin with. The place is clean, and the atmosphere was very chill. I appreciate all of her hard work, but I would def go for acrylics, and mix the Apres. They’re not worth the money. They also have no sort of like, hard cover, so they’re damaged super easily….

I went in today for birthday nails and ended up being very disappointed. I asked for 2 designs, cow print on my middle finger and a cactus on my thumb. The cow print came out smeared and the cactus looks like a pitchfork. The nails also have bubble like bump in the paint. The nail lady kept yanking my hand. And while filing she cut into my middle finger. The nail polish was tacky smeared and not filled in all the way. It was for sure rushed and I was forced to pay 60$ for something I could have done way better. After saying all this I will not be going back. Beware! They will not admit when they've done wrong. My daughter went there and showed them a simple picture. My daughter is too timid to confront anybody, but she showed them a picture of coffin style nails and flowers painted on both hands. They immediately cut them round on her. She asks them why they did that and they said they could not fix it now. They even ended up making her bleed. Then they refused to paint The flowers on both hands. $55 later, my daughter left for absolutely not what she asked for. So I called them. Of course they admitted nothing, they said bring my daughter back face-to-face…. Like they wanted to fight now. 🤦. The woman ended up hanging up on me. It's no wonder they have such a low rating here….

Very expensive $55 for a gel French tip pedicure and she told me when I called about the price she said that the pedicure was $22 and the French tip gel was an extra $33!! Do not waste your money and time here, this nail salon is unprofessional and horrible are doing nails, the work was rushed and sloppy, I went here with my friend and both our nails looked a mess, especially my friends, she had to have her nails fixed 5 times by multiple people, and they all messed up one after the other, the last guy was especially nasty towards her and tried to tell her what color she needed to get when she clearly requested a different shade of pink than what he was trying to give her, the paint job was bubbly and one finger was significantly shorter than the rest and there was built up acrylic left behind her nails. The guy even had the nerve to tell her to never come back and she replied telling him that she never plans to and that there is nothing to even come back to. If I could give zero stars I absolutely would because this place is a absolute disgrace to the nail tech community and is a joke of a salon, if you like having bricks for nails and your hands feel so heavy you could knock out Dwayne the rock Johnson then this is the place for you, otherwise it would behoove anyone considering coming here to find another salon bc I promise you will leave here angry and disappointed….

Went to the salon on a referral from a friend had Monica for a stylist. Wanted to get back to my highlights in my hair. . I had a reddish tone In my hair, I was looking for golden Highlights. The product and process that she used bleached out my hair, frizzed out my hair And fried it. It was bleached out on top and darker on the bottom, and I had red stripes going through my hair. There was nothing blonde about it. It was yellow and white on top. It was such a drastic change that took me a couple of days to realize how bad the process was and how bad it looked. I called Monica about it. We discussed it and I asked her for my money back. I and did not think it was a great idea to have her try to fix it. First time didn’t go well why would I try again? She agreed to give me my money back took my address. A week later I called back again and as soon as she found out who it was she said it’s in the mail and she hung up on me. I called again The phone was busy all day she made it impossible for me to try and talk to the owner. Spoke to her again said yes it’s still in the mail. She couldn’t control the post office. I Sent a letter to the salon hoping the owner would get this letter. Since I have not heard anything I don’t know if she did get the letter very annoyed that you couldn’t even take the time and be considerate and call.me. Very unprofessional all around to not even speak with me. No excuse for lies and being rude and being ignored. a hundred bucks is a lot of money to me. It was a special treat and I had to go and get it fixed. this is not the way to take care of your customers. The owner could’ve at least called me….

THIS PLACE IS AMAZING! I should have done a review sooner! They are kind of new.. I went in bc I was close and had just gotten my nails done somewhere else days before, and they were breaking already. So I went in for a nail repair.
I asked for tips, yet the tech asked if he could do it “a better way for MY NAILS?” I said of course. Well he built the nails out of acyclic and THEY WERE BEAUTIFUL! Still are almost 2 MONTHS later! Went for a pedicure and requested the paraffin pedi with gel polish. The tech was nice, but I assume she forgot I asked for it because I got callus removal and the basic pedicure without even having lotion or any scrub, etc prior to her painting them. Only once this was done did I mention something and she proceeded to do the socks, lotion and towel. In all salons I’ve visited prior this was done prior to the polish but I again assume she forgot the pedicure I had requested. Even if I did not remind her, I still got a very basic pedicure with little effort. I was also charged an additional 15$ for gel, which is not a big deal but is not clear when advertising the pedicures they offer. Not sure if I just had a weird experience; the overall pricing isn’t bad for additional services compared to higher end salons but I’d try them again. Quality of the paint is decent and again she was very nice….

I went in for a new set and pedicure 9 days ago, and yesterday my middle nail snapped off. I wouldn’t have returned but since i called and they said they would fix it for free, i did. Today i went in and got it “fixed” but the nail looks awful. The woman did not put any pink under the white so you can see through my nails (my other nails had the pink) and she put way too much white and it was a different shape. I would of been fine with it since i could deal with a weird looking nail for a week until i get them redone (at a different place) but when i went to leave, they said it would be 8 dollars. I informed the front desk person that I was told on the phone it would be free, and he said because of the length of my nails, it would be 8 dollars. i paid for the length of my nails when i got the full set only 9 days ago when i paid 130 dollars for a mani pedi. I would understand if it broke off from a fill because nails get old and weathered so they need to be replaced, but before i got them done i did not have acrylics on at all, so after only 9 days, it should not have snapped off (so easily as well) edit: the top coat she put on my nails today is peeling off as well, including on the new nail)…

This person was rude and while she was in fact told there was no time; that was not a personal attack. They are a very small “mom and pop” shop with only one person that does certain services. She had a fully booked schedule & truly didn’t have time and was honest with her. That’s no reason to blast a business. Smh…

I recently visited this location because I’m new in the area and there was a lady working on another lady’s nails and I politely asked is there anyone here that can do eyebrows and at first the lady didn’t acknowledge me at all but then a man said yes we do so the lady doing nail responded no I don’t have time and I said really that was very rude and I walked out she didn’t acknowledge me or even look at me while I was talking she just rudely responded no I don’t have time and continued to do nails this was by far the worst experience I’ve ever had dealing with a nail salon and I will not be back ever again…

I went here with a friend a little over a week ago for a pedicure and a fill. The polish on my nails is already chipping (one actually chipped off 3 days after visit). There were several issues with our visit:
This is not my regular salon but my friend wanted to try them out again. Since she had made appointments two weeks in advance you would think they would be properly staffed. Usually when you make an appointment the salon should try their best to accommodate you to be seen together. At the very least for the pedicures. Instead I watched her get her nails done, then she went for her pedicure. Since my nails took longer my friend sat and watched me for 30 minutes after her pedicure. The other odd thing is Tracy was half way done with my nails then moved me to the pedicure chair. When done with my pedicure she then finished my nails by having me turn awkwardly while she attempted to do my nails while I sat in the pedicure chair (perhaps this is why they are chipping already). When my friend went to have her pedicure the gentleman didn’t even ask her what kind she wanted and gave her the standard pedicure (when she would have preferred one with a scrub and wax).
To me, going to the salon is having the “experience” of being pampered. Instead, it felt like we were being rushed through, as they kept getting up and down to do other things.
If you have appointments scheduled then have proper staffing. Don’t make your customers feel like they are a bother.
I will not return to this spa. I have been a loyal client at Love Nails in the Oaks Mall plaza and will return there to have my nails redone properly. Hannah and her staff are polite, personable and you never feel rushed. I only went here because my friend treated me and she picked this salon. I feel she should be given a refund for my nails, as this was not quality work. An acrylic fill should last a minimum of 4 weeks if not longer….

I would give a zero if Google would allow. This was the worst experience I've had in a nail salon. They first sat me to do a pedicure and then after sitting for more than 15 mins they decided to dry my feet and send me for what should have been a fill on my nails. The guy sat down and reeked of beer so bad I mentioned it and he puts a mask on them proceeds to big my nails he was literally burning my fingers when I pulled my hand away because they were on fire he says look how hard I'm working here. Then proceeds to continue to grind them even further. The lady owner comes over I complained and she switched spots with him to finish my nails. The acrylic is so thick, completely uneven and it took longer for just the full on my nails than it took for my 2 daughters to get both pedicures and fills. Definitely will never recommend this place to anyone.
My 1 daughters pedicure left her feet rougher than before, when you leave from having a pedicure your feet should feel at its very best that's not the case in this salon. For 3 people to come in and all 3 walk out very unsatisfied with the worst quality experience ever in a nail salon this place really needs to reevaluate the way things are done here. Not to mention the constant nonstop family arguments between the owner and their daughter not any kind of ambiance what should be a relaxing experience….

First, this place only has so many stars because they basically pay people to rate them. 5 stars= $5 off. Not that it will help much with the extreme prices they have. I wanted to get my nails done for vacation, I took a peice of my clothing with me to match a specific outfit. After choosing the color. The nail tech, Annie, was nearing the finish of the last gel coat (I only got gel over my natural nails that I had been growing out), it was time for the seal. Before she sealed, I had mentioned to Annie, who was my nail tech, that my polish was clumpy and goopy. She insisted that it wasn't and started speaking very fast in a different language. She called another tech over and I showed her my nails, she suggested to put sparkle over it and insisted that it was the color I picked out and not the slop job that Annie did. I decided to agreed to try the sparkle (which did not impove it by much). In anger, Annie grabbed the stand my hands were STILL resting on, resulting in them falling to the counter and continued to pack everything with haste shoving all of her equipment in her drawer and demanded that I sit and wait for someone else to do my nails. She expected me to wait AGAIN for someone to be able to finish my nails. Her frustration was evident. I understand that some times people have bad days, and I've never posted a reveiw like this, however I've also never been treated so badly/rude. I called the manager, Nathan, and left my number 3 times within the week, asking him to call me back so we may discuss this incident, however he never called back and was always unavailable. With as expensive as this place is, I expected more from my service. I've also gotten several mediocre pedicures from this place, but never complained, as I understand that they were short staffed and most of the people where new, but never blatantly rude like Annie was. I'll never go back here again. With the direction the world is going now, I'd rather work hard for a service that works hard for me….

Worse experience ever. I asked for a manicure and gel extension. The technician did not give me a manicure whatsoever. She did not prep my hand and simply glued the faux nail to my unprepped nails. When I asked if she was going to take my cuticles off she responded with “yeah I file later” and she sure did. She files my skin raw. Three days later all my cuticle is still there and my nails look awful. It was the most painful nail experience ever. Do not recommend!…

I recently visited Azulene Nail Salon for a manicure and pedicure, and my experience was a mixed bag. Let's start with the positives: their pedicures are absolutely amazing. The attention to detail and the level of care they provide is top-notch. However, when it comes to manicures, particularly acrylic services, I was sorely disappointed. After leaving the salon and taking a closer look at my nails while sitting in my car, I was shocked by the poor quality of the acrylic application. It was evident that corners were cut, and the end result was far from satisfactory.
Dissatisfied with the outcome, I walked back into the salon to request a refund. They wouldn’t refund the $80 for the acrylic nails. Although they offered to fix my nails, I couldn't bring myself to trust them again after the initial disappointment. It's disappointing when a service falls short of expectations, especially when you're paying for quality.
On a side note, I initially requested a design for my nails, but the technician seemed uncomfortable with the idea, so I settled for a solid color with chrome instead. While this wasn't a major issue, it did contribute to the overall feeling of dissatisfaction with the experience.
In conclusion, while Azulene excels in pedicures, their manicure acrylic services leave much to be desired. Proceed with caution if you're considering getting your nails done here, especially if you have specific design preferences….
