Been going in since they opened service will be good then it's not so good. I've said to myself several times I'm not going back and I usually don't for months .limited to nails salons in small town so I always end up going back . I went after work 2 1/2 hrs for a set and eye brows . Within half hour after leaving I started noticing my nails was not shaped correctly she used powder and gel so they was super thick . I called next day and said we need fix these . Made appt get there she trys tell me come back in hour . Then why make appt . ? The one lady starts u and another will take over hince why I got powder and gel . Anyway she says she fix it all. She did and at end she tell me I only charge u 10 dollars today . ???????? Mind u I paid 85 day before so I tell her 10 for what to fix ur mistake??? She replied with never mind this time . So no I will not go back I'm gonna drive 30 miles to Gainesville . They do what they want at this shop u may have 2-3 techs working on u for 1 set so communication is lacking . Not to mention all the chit chat between techs in their language I personally think is rude . Their Pedi is lacking to say least no soak time to relaxe all the chit chat u hear. Sad such a nice salon turning in to just a customer turn around not quality. Then want to charge someone to fix their mistake . Never got wash my hands after acrylic set was in before polish . So getting less for more money . Won't be back ever ….

HORRIBLE experience, very disappointing! I decided to try a new nail salon but this one was a bad choice. All I wanted to do was get a nice relaxing mani/pedi bc I've been stressed. As soon as I walked in the man was aggressive and rude. He did not greet me but the lady did. She appeared embarrassed about his behavior. He kept asking what do you want? Do waste you money or your time. I took my two granddaughters to have a manicure. They asked for a design on their nails and was rudely told they couldn’t have them they didn’t do designs. But clearly on their Facebook page it showed photos of kids with design nails. The man did their nails, took about 6 minutes for each girl. Did not trim cuticles, shape very well or paint very well. At check out I was told $35.00 so I handed him my gift cards and he very rudely said that those were not his gift cards and I must have purchased them somewhere . I showed him his name address and phone number. On the cards. Next he said that they were expired and he would not take them. I told him I had checked online and the cards had $10 on one and 25 on the other and the gift card had no expiration date anywhere on it. Finally his wife speaks up and says that they did have those cards but it been a while since they had use them. He still did not want to take them saying they were expired but I pointed out they had balances on them. He finally offered me $20 off the bill which I took at that time regrettably my granddaughters were embarrassed at his actions and their nails. Very unprofessional, rude and inapt doing nails save your money….

I go as a treat every 6 weeks or so. I like dip and gel. Nothing special. Maybe I'm old-school, but there was a time when you were not rushed in and out as fast as possible. Manicure included cuticles, shaping, gently filing taking care of nails beds and sides, lotions and pleasant service. The last time I was there I received rushed and rude treatment as if I was a burden. The Manicurist had a filthy station with someone else's nail clippings and filings and used the same dirty towel. I should have stuck up for it myself stopping her. But I didn't. The whole time I'm worried about infection. She did nick my cuticle which bled. So this place can't really call it a spa treatment . Try somewhere else….

Overpriced! I went in for dip. I have never paid over $45 for dip unless I got something extra or my nails were longer. My regular go-to nail salon has gotten worse, so I decided to go back here because I used to a while back. I am not sure how long this will last. The dip was not done how I am used to (dipping in the powder) but was done with an acrylic brush and only 1 layer. No cleaning of the nail area or anything extra was done. My nails are short and they were already shaped so he did not have to do any of that. When I checked out Rose told me it was $65😱. When I questioned it she got an attitude and said you have not been here a long time ago, as in justifying the charge. To make matter worse, she rang me up and the receipt said 66.30, so I asked about that. With an attitude, she said "2% charge if you would have paid cash no fee". Why didn't she tell me that before?
All they did was put one layer of dip powder with acrylic brush, one layer of clear and two 30 sec session under the light. That's it!!! I am not coming back. I love getting my nails done, but I am sick of the lack of customer service and hidden prices. No where on the chart is there dip and the only thing on the chart at that price was pink and white gel!!! I truly believe she just made up that price when she charged me. What a shame!! My nails look fine but I don't care how good of a job you do when you lack care for your customers and have an attitude just cause you can, I will not spend my money at your business….

First, this place only has so many stars because they basically pay people to rate them. 5 stars= $5 off. Not that it will help much with the extreme prices they have. I wanted to get my nails done for vacation, I took a peice of my clothing with me to match a specific outfit. After choosing the color. The nail tech, Annie, was nearing the finish of the last gel coat (I only got gel over my natural nails that I had been growing out), it was time for the seal. Before she sealed, I had mentioned to Annie, who was my nail tech, that my polish was clumpy and goopy. She insisted that it wasn't and started speaking very fast in a different language. She called another tech over and I showed her my nails, she suggested to put sparkle over it and insisted that it was the color I picked out and not the slop job that Annie did. I decided to agreed to try the sparkle (which did not impove it by much). In anger, Annie grabbed the stand my hands were STILL resting on, resulting in them falling to the counter and continued to pack everything with haste shoving all of her equipment in her drawer and demanded that I sit and wait for someone else to do my nails. She expected me to wait AGAIN for someone to be able to finish my nails. Her frustration was evident. I understand that some times people have bad days, and I've never posted a reveiw like this, however I've also never been treated so badly/rude. I called the manager, Nathan, and left my number 3 times within the week, asking him to call me back so we may discuss this incident, however he never called back and was always unavailable. With as expensive as this place is, I expected more from my service. I've also gotten several mediocre pedicures from this place, but never complained, as I understand that they were short staffed and most of the people where new, but never blatantly rude like Annie was. I'll never go back here again. With the direction the world is going now, I'd rather work hard for a service that works hard for me….

I recently visited Azulene Nail Salon for a manicure and pedicure, and my experience was a mixed bag. Let's start with the positives: their pedicures are absolutely amazing. The attention to detail and the level of care they provide is top-notch. However, when it comes to manicures, particularly acrylic services, I was sorely disappointed. After leaving the salon and taking a closer look at my nails while sitting in my car, I was shocked by the poor quality of the acrylic application. It was evident that corners were cut, and the end result was far from satisfactory.
Dissatisfied with the outcome, I walked back into the salon to request a refund. They wouldn’t refund the $80 for the acrylic nails. Although they offered to fix my nails, I couldn't bring myself to trust them again after the initial disappointment. It's disappointing when a service falls short of expectations, especially when you're paying for quality.
On a side note, I initially requested a design for my nails, but the technician seemed uncomfortable with the idea, so I settled for a solid color with chrome instead. While this wasn't a major issue, it did contribute to the overall feeling of dissatisfaction with the experience.
In conclusion, while Azulene excels in pedicures, their manicure acrylic services leave much to be desired. Proceed with caution if you're considering getting your nails done here, especially if you have specific design preferences….

I had a very disappointing visit to Grand Oaks Nails. I asked for a standard French pedicure but the staff seemed to have different definitions of what that meant and ultimately, due to miscommunications between the staff, they were unable to deliver a standard French pedicure. I even showed a picture of what I was expecting. I also repeatedly asked what color they typically use for French and was ignored. Unfortunately, I had paid before my toes were finished, the owner was extremely rude with me and no solution was offered. I used to have some great thoughts about this place before my last visit. The day before my renewal ceremony, I was surprised with money to get my nails done. Due to previous experience there, this place was where I wanted to go- NOT ANYMORE. The guy that did my toes took advantage of the fact that I was on the phone with with family and friends (mind you, I also had my 4 year old daughter with me) to make sure the ceremony was going to go as planned and he charged me $12 more as well as gave me services that I did not ask for, even after I had already told him that I did not want the service he was offering to me.
The gentleman that did my finger nails was so sweet and seemed to be very excited for me and I appreciate him for that.
His graciousness though isn't enough for me to go back ever again though. So, when you go get your nails done here, don't get distracted by anything else, pay attention to what some of them maybe trying to do….

It seemed like the guy that did my pedicure had never done one before. He cut my nails and dremeled the surface of the nail without soaking my feet. He did not bother cleaning under my nails, pushing back my cuticles, or properly shaping my nails. He literally just cut a strait line across the top of the nail and moved on. The "exfoliating scrub" was wiped on with no effort while he watched the TV behind me. Then the massage with lotion was lackluster and feeble. I've had better massages from old ladies. He didn't even touch my calves. I would have given only one star, but the ladies tried to fix the situation by touching up the nails and massaging again. Vicky gets the extra two stars….. but you shouldn't have to ask for another person to complete the job properly. If you're not going to do the job right, go home….

Absolutely horrible service! I’ve been coming here on and off for years because I’m from a nearby city but I have family here. They have no care about you as a person only the payment you make or card swipe at the end.
I keep telling myself I’ll never come back to another tech aside from Vicky or the lady in the first chair (I forget her name) for nails. They are the only 2 women there who can actually do nails here. This woman Loc Le did the most horrendous job on my feet, she never asked what shape I wanted or if I wanted them cut down. She did whatever the hell she felt like then when I asked her at the end of her doing an acrylic fill on my big toenails and completing the gel polish she swiped the top of my toenails twice with the file. Now we all know (or maybe just me because I’m a licensed cosmetologist) that you ask what shape the client would like, cut and file BEFORE polishing. She left my feet ashy with no cuticle oil and half polished toenails with big lumpy acrylic. DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME OR MONEY THEY WILL DISAPPOINT AND NOT GIVE A DAMN ABOUT YOU BEING A DISSATISFIED CUSTOMER! I added photos from in the car and when I got home and I am actually embarrassed that I let them get away with doing this to my feet. We all work hard for our mom, go where it is appreciated and not expected!…

THIS PLACE IS AMAZING! I should have done a review sooner! They are kind of new.. I went in bc I was close and had just gotten my nails done somewhere else days before, and they were breaking already. So I went in for a nail repair.
I asked for tips, yet the tech asked if he could do it “a better way for MY NAILS?” I said of course. Well he built the nails out of acyclic and THEY WERE BEAUTIFUL! Still are almost 2 MONTHS later! I’m waiting on these to fall off to start a nail treatment on real nails(they haven’t even started cracking yet). But I WILL continue getting pedicures here until my nails are in better shape.
