But I do have to say I got my nails done a few weeks ago and they were so cute but then I start to notice underneath my nail on my left ring finger was hurting and the skin was coming off. I go here every time I want to treat myself and get my nails done. I usually have a pretty decent experience, except for this time. I came in for a refill and my nails look so horrible, they are lumpy and the acrylic application was rushed and turned out very poor. There is also nail polish left on both of my hands. I will say I called an hour and a half before they closed and asked if they had time for a fill, if not no worries. They told me they could do it for me and asked how long it would take me to get there, I told them 15-20 min. They had me pay $60 for this fill. I only paid 70ish for a full set and a more intricate design the last time I was here, although I did produce a great tip because I was happy with the work of the gentleman I had (the previous time). I don’t feel l as if this is a fair price for the work that was done. I’m honestly kind of deterred from going here because I don’t understand why you would rush and give up quality of work and customer satisfaction, I should’ve just been told that they did not have time for me. I would’ve took my business elsewhere.

Edit (the next day)- The side of my nail is chipping. Also on my thumb the polish isn’t fully dry so it is bubbling and wet underneath the top layer. this is the second time it has happened, as it happened with my last set. They are aware of the issue so you would think that the salon would make it a point to ensure the thumb is dry before applying more layers. During the drying process I tried to manipulate my thumb to make sure it was drying properly due to what happened last time( I came back and got it fixed).I have never heard of that issue anywhere else, so I’m not sure what else I could be doing. I attached a photo of the chip on my nail, and the bubbling of the wet paint underneath the dry topcoat….

I’ve been going to Palm nails for 3 years since moving to Palm coast. At first, I loved going there. Price isn’t bad and I enjoyed talking to Bon whenever I went. The last few times I had gone, the work felt rushed. It was uneven and didn’t feel like I was getting my moneys worth but I’m not the type of person to make a fuss. However, my most recent visit will probably be my last. I explained to Bon I had a wedding the same day I got my nails done and asked for a sharp French set with a rhinestone on one finger each hand. Pictures is what I got, and yes, took those same day.

Update: Gave the salon another shot and recently had been going to David. (He’s an incredible nail tech, did so great!!) I called them yesterday morning and said I just wanted my acrylics off and a strengthening manicure for my real nails because they’d grown out so much. They said “oh, well, we don’t take appointments for that, so just walk in.” Well, I walked in after work. They tell me “we are too busy, come back during the week.” Which I went on a Thursday…. So what, I’d have to come back Monday?? I explained I tried to make an appointment and was told you don’t take appointments for that, and the owner blew me off to go check on pedicures being done after repeating to come back another day….

Came here for a pedicure, which is always a pampering experience. I was literally done in 20 minutes. It was basically a polish change. I have never had a pedicure this short and talked to either the manager or someone else and they tried to tell me this was normal and still charged me for a $35 pedicure. The massage during a pedicure is always the best part and this was maybe 1 minute. Cleanup was minimal. If you are looking for polish change and not a pedicure, then this is your place. But you will spend $35 for this….

She said it has been there for at least three weeks, and they should've seen it when we're doing the fill ins. She did a terrible job shaping and had to redo each nail, by which point the nails were very short. She painted them fine but there’s some polish lifting off the finger. Also the salon was very hard to find and google maps brought me to a different salon. Will not be returning to Passion nails, I was expecting MUCH better for the amount of money I spent….

I came here to get my nails done for the first time in my life. I was able to come because it was my birthday. I brought my mom, sister, and sister-in-law. I was scared my nails would be ruined. When we pulled up, they were jammed packed. They were obviously good from the first look. Their facility is very welcoming and the staff immediently greeted us, and despite being packed they took my sister and mom to the pedicure area immediently and got their ladies to start their services. Me and my sister in law wanted full sets. Terry did my sister in laws nails and I waited. They turned out AMAZING and the French tips were perfect. She listened when she asked for a shorter version of the picture she gave her. Terry replicated the picture beautifully and even shortened them to my sister in laws liking. Then it was my turn. Terry was professional, friendly, welcoming gentle, and I got exactly what I wanted which wad my reference picture but shorter length. My mom and sister walked out with beautiful beach-ready pedis. We all walked out with smiles on our faces and beautiful nails. The prices were very good compared to competitors. All four of us got our gorgeous nails for a total of 205 dollars. (No tip)

Not only that, but they helped me decide where to eat for dinner since I was away from home. We went to dinner at Wild Ginger, a place they reccomended. It was AMAZING. The entire family enjoyed their food and experience.

If you want a friendly place to get your nails done, come to Nails and Co. Phenomenal customer service and nails.

The owners wife did my nails (basic gel polish change – my natural nails and super short)

First of all they charged me $30 which is absurd considering an entire bottle of polish is $15

But 3 days later the polish was chipping off AND when she applied the primer she merely did a little dot instead of the whole nail as required by their license.

I came back today to have them fix the 2 nails and they suddenly complained that I have an issue every time – which is beyond me because I've never complained before – maybe they are upset I chose not to tip for a $30 7 min nail polish change.

STAY CLEAR as they have horrible practices and will reward your loyalty with mere disrespect

I went to this place yesterday with a friend and I did not get the nails i requested because they did not have the proper equipment to achieve the nail look which was fine I looked for another design on pinterest and she did the design but it was very sloppy and I am not satisfied with my nails.. also, coming to pay for my nails i was charged 80, I asked why it was 80 dollars because I anticipated the amount would be 50-65 dollars. She said she charged 10 dollars more for “longer nails” But i never requested for long nails. She cut the plastic nail to a longer length and asked me if that was fine and I said yes. She never mentioned that it is a 10 dollar up-charge for long nails. I still paid the fee, the amount was the never the problem it was the deceiving . I called this location this morning and I asked if they could redo my nails instead of refund . They dont refund or redo nails… so really youre stuck with the ugly nails and a wasted 80 bucks. This review is just a heads up for anyone they wont tell you certain things just to get more money out of you. The first pic is what I got the second is what I wanted.. overall the people were very nice to me and welcoming but i dont appreciate how they resolve unsatisfied customers….

Called at 1:00pm to make a same day appointment. Gentleman on the phone gave me an appointment later in the day. I Showed up for my appointment and was told they were under staffed and overbooked and I would need to come back later. Why would you give me an appointment then? Very unprofessional horrible service. Decided to find a new nail place. Can’t speak of quality never got a chance to get anything completed….

I went there last Friday was told they are under new management. All the old staff have been replaced. Day 3 after I got a dip powder my thumb came off. Day 4 another finger, Day 6 another one. I paid $50 and it did not last a week. I'll be looking for another nail salon now. So so disappointing! Never had this happen with the old staff. The tech obviously didn't know what he was doing.

Update-Went back yesterday and they did the nails over, and did not charge me. But that's the least they should've done. I shouldn't have had to go back in the 1st place. I'm glad they tried to make it right…..

When I say I HATE my nails, it’s an understatement. This is EXACTLY why I stick to nail techs. I wanted to go to a nail tech but i know u have to schedule an appointment and I didn’t have time, I just wanted my nails done right away. I read the reviews online before going and saw a lot of negative things but I still decided to give them a shot.. Then I showed him the inspo pic of what I wanted on my nails and he said it would be $60. I thought that was a great price because most salons charged $80+. I now realize why they charged $60. Because their quality is horrible. I Asked for two hearts he gave me dots The French tip was sloppy and slanted. Also smudged because they didn’t dry all the way and he (the owner) didn’t fix it. My nails are also different shapes.. I asked for tapered square and most of them are regular square. Please do not come here and just stick to the nail techs. Some nail techs do charge more but at least you’ll be satisfied ….

I tried this salon because my mom comes here and is a repeat customer with no complaints. I came here about a month ago and got a pedicure and had no issues. I came here again for a full set and had Tom. He did a great job so I asked if he takes appointments. He said yes, and gave me his number. I texted him for an appointment for today for a fill and a pedicure. He said 12pm was good. I get there at 11:50am and there’s someone in his chair. Fair enough because they’re a busy place. 12:35, I am then brought back to the nail station. I sit down and he said “Fill and Pedicure right?”… I said “yes”… He then said “maybe pedicure”, I said “no, I need my toes done too”…. So, we start my nails, he put the acrylic on, and then says “will you come back at 5 for the pedicure?”…. I said “okay I guess”. He then proceeds to complete the acrylic and file. He completes the filing and says “okay you come back at 5 and I finish your nails and do your pedicure”….i said “uh no, I had an appointment at 12, so at least finish my nails” then I said “oh you’re messing with me, right?”… so the guy next to him must have said something to him because he finished my nails. He was going to send me home without anything on my nails. What if I couldn’t come back later for him to finish? After all, I told him I was preparing for my daughters birthday party tomorrow but alright. Needless to say, I left with my fill done but not my pedicure and I’m not coming back either. I wound up going to another place for my pedicure.

In response to the owner's comment since I cannot reply right to them… Your establishment employs this individual. If he is doing unethical things, then he should be reprimanded for his actions. Your clients or customers should not be held accountable because they were given a false sense of security and customer service when they were told that they can reach out to the technician personally. I know many people that reach out to their preferred technician personally to schedule an appointment and they have never had issues. If you think that a customer will not hold the salon responsible after something like this, you are highly mistaken. These types of actions will ALWAYS reflect the salon as long as you employ someone like that….

I honestly loved this place my dad is friends with the owner and I got 2 pedicures and a manicure acrylic set. The pedicure was a little expensive but worth it and my acrylics are amazing and cheap, although I feel like the lady could’ve payed more attention. She was calling somone on her personal phone while doing my acrylics, and most of them are lumpy in some areas. Again loved the service but could use some more focus and time. (I feel like she rushed on my acrylics) I had two different people for my nails than for my toes but they turned out amazing. The first two are hand the last is feet..

Ok its about 3 days later and the nails started literally popping off a day or two ago and i wasn’t even being rough, and the acrylic polish wasn’t all the way to my cuticles. The toe polish is still decently ok but I’m still upset about my acrylics…

I read all the most recent reviews and they were great so I wanted to check this place out. I’m struggling finding a good place in palm coast. This was my second place since I got here. My last gel manicure was a disaster. I went in with gel on my nails and wanted to redo. The nail tech I had tried to take my old gel but none of it came off so she had to drill it all off. She told me I should either do dip or give my nails a break from gel so I appreciated her input. I decided to just do a regular polish and take a break from the gel. The old gel didn’t all come off so there was remnants of that and she took the drill and essentially tried to remove layers of my natural nail. I also asked her to cut my nails down because one nail broke and she was going to leave my other nails long with one nail short and they would all break since I wasn’t going gel again. The paint job was not great. When I went to the dryer I could see how uneven the painting all was. Someone saw me staring at my nails so my nail tech came back to see if everything was ok. I tried to explain to her that the paint was uneven and all she did was put another layer of top coat on. In the end my nails were not filed great, some where uneven and all were sharp angles and the paint was really off. I’d like to give this place another try but with a different nail tech. Unfortunately with all the drilling on my nails beds I’m done getting my nails done for a long while. I spent tonight refiling my nails and I’ll be going to get nail polish remover so I can get this polish off. What a bummer!…

However, as soon as the tech started the top coast I mentioned to her that portions on my toenails were missing polish. She then put polish over the top coat smudging the polish while still leaving portions unpainted.
While the tech was nice, her work was not worth the money and I am left to repaint….
