I had my kids with me but they did not mind and even complimented me on how good of a mother I was and how great my kids are. They adored my daughter and she absolutely loved everyone as well! I am so grateful for the wonderful staff and amazing service. My nails are absolutely gorgeous. I came in for a fill in but to my surprise I needed more than that. Amy took her time and made sure my nails were healthy and restored bc the original nail tech at a different salon didn’t take the time to remove my nails that had gotten water inside causing discoloration on my nails. Our recent visit to JT Nails provided a mix of experiences, leaving us with both positives and areas for improvement.

Upon arrival, we were promptly greeted and signed in, and the wait time was shorter than expected, with only 12 minutes of the advised 20-minute wait. The nail technicians assigned was friendly and attentive, listening carefully to our requests. They were thorough and knowledgeable about the reflexology services we requested, which added to the overall relaxation of the experience.

However, the disparity in service quality was noticeable, as one of the nail technicians seemed less thorough in their approach. While one technician provided adequate stone and warm towel applications, another technician only offered these extras briefly, which was disappointing considering it was part of the billed services.

Despite this inconsistency, our visit was relaxing overall, and we appreciated the efforts of the attentive staff. While we may consider returning in the future, we hope for more consistency in the level of service provided across the board….

I tipped him and Kim both $20 each, cash and ended up paying 135 with my credit card for acrylic full set with three gemstones and French tip coffin shape and a basic pedicure. Kim did get a little frustrated when I asked her to fill in some polish on the edges of my toenails. Kim did do two coats on my toes and made sure she did a thorough job. But it did take 2 1/2 hours for an acrylic full set three gemstones and a classic pedicure with basic polish. Hopefully next time it will not take 2 1/2 hours….

The tech originally started my nails when I was getting my pedicure. First, the bowl she brought over for me to soak my nails in was just straight cold water. Probably one of the worst nail jobs I have had in a long while. My pedicure was fine, but I’ve had these acrylic nails for less than a week, and each and every single nail is already pulling up and catching my hair. I haven’t had time to stop and get an entirely new set; so I’ve been dealing with it.

The line work for the French is mediocre at best, and each of the tips weren’t fully painted in. Unfortunately, I didn’t do a great inspection prior to me getting home and realizing they were all horrible. They are lumpy in several areas, and you can literally see my natural nail through the paint. I would not come back unless you’re only getting gel. This was WITH an appointment too, so they knew I was getting a full new set with French gel….

Not the best, not the worst. I recently moved to this side of town and have been trying to find a new nail salon so I decided to try out Ooh La La. Everyone was very friendly and personable but the quality just wasn’t there. I requested a regular polish change on my toes and SNS change on my nails with chrome powder. My toes weren’t polished very well but it wasn’t the worst I’ve ever had so I didn’t really say anything. I did have to request that she reshape my nails a couple times as two of them were very clearly crooked. She did the almond shape ($6 up charge, which I’ve never seen before so that’s a con as well) like I asked but by the time they were cut down and filed so many times they were much shorter than I usually get/was expecting. The salon has dim lighting so I didn’t notice until I got home that a couple of my nails were lumpy (Was hard to get my camera to focus on my nail, but the lump is clearly visible in person). I may try them again one day if I don’t find another salon I commit to….

I have been coming here for months just for gel polish manicure and a deluxe pedicure and have not been unhappy except for my first visit when my polish peeled off. They paired me with a new tech Emily and I thought things were good. She did have a terrible attitude at times but I just shrugged it off. Tried to book my next appointment and was told the nail tech didn't think she was meeting "expectations" but I was happy every time. Finding somewhere else that will treat me kindly, take my money, and I guess meet "my expectations". The last time I saw my nail tech we tried to layer 2 colors and needed to redo the color which was unfortanate. Then she tried to sit me in a chair that I know has been broken for over a month. I asked to be moved and she seemed pissed off at me the rest of my visit. I always tipped well and treated people kindly. She is very attentive, listens to everything I say, and is a great conversationalist too so I have a very good time when I go and see her. My pet peeve with my old salon even though I told them so many times was that they would not take off the cuticles well enough and then paint over them which meant that obviously the nail polish would end up lifting off but here never a problem. The nails look perfect. Candy is wonderful but I've also had other technicians work on my nails and on my feet and they've all been really great. Parking is easy, the salon is never extremely full. Last week, I was trying to get my nails done for my birthday trip to Mexico. A trip that I knew I would also be getting engaged on. When two other nail salons in town absolutely ruined my nails, I called Le Dream crying. Sobbing. Begging them to please fix them and make my nails look pretty for my trip/engagement. To the very nice and patient woman who answered the phone – thank you so much for your understanding and getting me in that same day. I’m so sorry you had to deal with my hysterics.

When I walked in that afternoon, I was greeted by Lucy, who proceeded to be so kind and compassionate when I told her (through more tears) why I was in there that day. Lucy was so thoughtful and patient with me, and made sure to check in with me numerous times during my appointment to make sure that I was okay and everything looked as I expected it to. She made me feel comfortable and heard and not at all like I was crazy for being so emotional over two failed attempts at having pretty nails (seriously y’all – they were so bad before she got a hold of me). Thank you so much Lucy for your kindness and amazing work. I have officially found my new favorite nail salon and I will be sure to always book my appointments with Lucy from now on.

I did spend a little more than normal due to having to have tips and dip removed from the last salon, as well as getting the flame design on all 10 fingers, but in my opinion it was worth every penny to leave there feeling like I didn’t have troll hands anymore….

The shop was clean and they took me as a walk-in for an acrylic manicure. The gentleman they placed me with was very chatty and felt okay using a slur word about a personal situation he was involved in. He was already into my second hand so I couldn’t leave and get to my next appointment without the job being finished. So I stayed.

He was very rough with filing my old nails down – normally this is done with the electric tool but for some reason he decided to use heavy duty emory boards. That made it quite uncomfortable.

The finished nails were pretty sturdy and shaped well but he said they don’t have the product to do the American style anymore and tried to mimic it with a neutral / pink. I don’t love it. It made my nails look dingy.

While the overall shop is conveniently located and clean I will pass on returning to this shop.

Update May 2024: based on the shops response I double checked the location from the loyalty card provided when I checked out. It’s definitely the right location.

Since I take review writing seriously I would say try the location if you like but avoid the gentleman if he is still on staff….
