I went in for a standard French pedicure. I asked for an infill for 3 toe nails since they were a little shorter and I like them long. She infilled all toes and never talked to me about it first. She also cut one toe with the electric filer and drew blood, and also broke one of my toenails going too hard. The French was not nice, way too thick even though I kept showing her a photo and telling her thinner. All the nails are different lengths, and the infill is so thick it looks horrible. The worst part was they charged me an extra $47 for the “infill”. I asked for three toenails not the whole 10 and they charged me anyway. I tried to explain this to them and they forced me to pay, also told me I had brittle toe nails which is ridiculous if I’ve never had any issues anywhere else. If I were to go into a mechanic for an oil change only, and they put 4 new tires on and make me pay for it would that be an ethical business practice? I paid over $100 USD for a pedicure that looks terrible. 2 of the “infilled” toenails fell off within 2 days. I have gotten pedicures all over the world, including Thailand, Budapest and Colombia and always asked for the same thing (infill a couple of nails to match the other lengths, French pedicure) and never had any issues, and paid a third of the price!!! Terrible service and terrible job. I do not recommend….

Worst dip manicure I’ve ever received. The technician did not wipe off or clean up dust from smoothing. When finished nail color has grit and dust spots in polish. Terrible. I asked her to fix two before leaving because the clear coat was already coming off. He acted irritated and hurriedly removed that polish to prep for the gel. Very sloppy job! The ends of my toenails are missing polish and it's all on my skin!
Then I go to check out and the girl says it's $50! I told her I chose the $30 pedicure. She said, but you got gel polish.

BEWARE!!! I received an acrylic fill in recently and ended up getting way more than I bargained for. Next morning I woke up with almost every cuticle and skin around my nail , red, fevered , inflamed, infected and painful. I had to seek medical care and am now on antibiotics orally and topically for the next 14 days. This is horrible. I will never give this place my business again….

I have been coming here monthly since February and they usually do a decent job at accommodating my nail requests. It is mine and my friends monthly ritual. Today we did as normal we had pictures of what we wanted done and presented them… What I asked for is not what I received and I am a little disappointed and I will partially blame myself for not saying something there as I don't like to be confrontational. But when the tech pulled out the blue color I had thought it would be for the line designs. I am a little upset as this was not a cheap venture for me. I may consider looking elsewhere for next months session which breaks my heart….

I got my nails done on a Sunday afternoon. I got Halloween nail art that I really loved (although it was a little sloppy). My daughter (5) and I both got manicures and pedicures with regular polish. I do not get gel polish because it always makes my nails weak and chip easily. The woman doing my nails warned me that the polish would chip easier because it was regular polish as opposed to gel. I told her I understood and accepted that thinking I would get at least 5 days to a week since I work an office job and wear gloves to wash dishes. By Tuesday morning, the polish had completely peeled off 4 of my nails and several of my daughters too. It peeled off in large chunks. By Wed. evening and every one had peeled off. I get that because I'm not down with the gel polish, my manicure won't last very long, but a day and a half?!? I went back to the salon that afternoon and the manager basically shrugged and told me that's why they recommend gel polish. I spent almost $80 after all was said and done including tip, and the polish lasted for less than 2 days. But what was most frustrating was the salon's response. When I asked why they would even offer regular polish she said most people just got it for one night. That is ludicrous. When I polish my nails at home it lasts for at least a week. I suspect their regular polish is old/thinned out using acetone so it's easier to apply and dries quicker. Don't go here if you value your nails or customer service. You'd be better off buying a $1 polish from Walmart and doing it yourself….

Do not waste your money and time here, this nail salon is unprofessional and horrible are doing nails, the work was rushed and sloppy, I went here with my friend and both our nails looked a mess, especially my friends, she had to have her nails fixed 5 times by multiple people, and they all messed up one after the other, the last guy was especially nasty towards her and tried to tell her what color she needed to get when she clearly requested a different shade of pink than what he was trying to give her, the paint job was bubbly and one finger was significantly shorter than the rest and there was built up acrylic left behind her nails. The guy even had the nerve to tell her to never come back and she replied telling him that she never plans to and that there is nothing to even come back to. If I could give zero stars I absolutely would because this place is a absolute disgrace to the nail tech community and is a joke of a salon, if you like having bricks for nails and your hands feel so heavy you could knock out Dwayne the rock Johnson then this is the place for you, otherwise it would behoove anyone considering coming here to find another salon bc I promise you will leave here angry and disappointed….

I usually go to Salinas nails but I wanted to try a different salon so I saw the good reviews on Silos and thought it'd be a good salon to go to. I had called and asked how much a gel manicure and pedicure would cost, I got the information and said I would be there in about 10 minutes, I get there and am greeted and asked to look st the colors while I wait. As I'm looking at the colors one of the techs comes over and says she can take me to start my pedicure, pedicure was going great until they had one of their techs start on my nails while I was getting my pedicure done. So I had to keep turning and being uncomfortable in the seat, then after he gets to a point where all he has left to do is the gel polish I notice the tech that was giving me my pedicure didn't do gel polish like I asked, when I went over to finish my nails they couldn't do the designs I had wanted to I had to settle for something quickly. As I was leaving i noticed when i held my hand up in the sunlight I saw that my gel polish I got with my manicure was splotchy. They were busy as I was leaving so I didn't get to talk to someone about my pedicure, so I called shortly after I left asking questions about my pedicure. I was told I got regular polish instead of gel like I had asked, I got told I could come back in and they would fix it but I would be charged again to get gel polish even though I had paid already for regular and even though i asked for it on the phone and at the salon. I think I will stick with going to Salinas from now on, I always leave there happy and they always accommodate to the designs I'm wanting….

I didn’t notice until I got in the bright sunshine but I have fibers/hairs all in my polish. This is after a 20% tip because, again they were nice people. Again, I wanted to like it but $60 was a lot to spend for this kind of work. :(…

When she asked if i liked my nails i stated no, she said well if you have time later come back. Within 24 hours one nail popped off, within 48 another and within a week another one . I had the volcano pedicure. Very disappointed with this service. The massage was too light-handed, they spilled paraffin so I didn’t get the full foot covered, the blade to remove dead skin did not come from a sterile pack, and neither did the brush they scrubbed my foot with. Gross. The green brush looked very worn. Polish is clumpy and messy. The “tech” barely spoke to me. When the nails were dry and I checked them, I asked why the polish was so bad? They asked if I wanted it fixed now? I’ve already been here over at hour… Like how they didn’t see how bad their polish job was before putting me under the dryer, I don’t even know?!? Also, the packs that they were using we’re not actually sterilized there was moisture in the packs when removed from the top cabinet of the unit. I watched tech place a kit in to be sterilized and the next tech grab the same kit that was just placed in there . It’s also too crowded in the sterilizer with too many packs stacked up. You can not process instruments in layers. Too many packs means bacteria and moisture is trapped. This is not up to safety standards….

I came in today to get a pedicure and a fill in overlay on my toes I spent $90 on just my toes not including a tip. The person who did my pedicure barely scrubbed my feet didn’t put anything in the water advised me for a curve like French tip not straight across look that it was going to be another $15 to get (I don’t like thick French tip only skinny) up charging for French is crazy so I declined I didn’t even get a massage on my feet or a hot towel with my pedicure which was a waste of money. I’ve always had a issue with this salon that’s why I never come here and tried to give them a second chance but you don’t get what you pay for here didn’t even have wine and the liquor store is next door. My toes weren’t even cleaned up when done. I came for my bday I won’t be back highly don’t recommend coming here you can get more for your money at a better salon. The only service I came in for was a basic pedicure and a fill in on my toes as well and it was $90 and I couldn’t even get them the way I wanted because they charge extra for using a different style of brush never in my life had a salon tell me that. Prices need to be adjusted based on services being provided and they don’t match up don’t waste your time coming here . They think just because this is a nice area you can charge xyz but don’t wanna put in the work to charge that much is crazy….

I was looking for a new nail salon I could trust. Popped in for a pedicure. First, the nail tech misshaped my toenails. I’ve never had to exclaim to keep them square. They were rounded so much, the entire sides are gone on my big toe. Second, she did not give me the color I chose. I didn’t realize until I looked up from my phone. I still paid and tipped.
