So I debated even posting this but I don't want others to make the same mistake I did. I was in this business and had nail/waxing services while on vacation. My nails from my gel full set are all different lengths, there is glue and paint all over my cuticles and on almost all my fingers, also I showed my nail technician a photo for reference which she didn't even follow. My biggest issue however is the pricing. None of the prices on Google or their website are the same as when you get there, by a lot. Dont get me wrong my nails aren't horrific, but not what i wanted. For my extremely mediocre gel set and pedicure, and an eyebrow wax my total was 188.70 which is definitely a bit on the high side. I should have heeded the warning of other reviews stating this place overcharges visitors. Learned my lesson the hard way. Would the quality of my services been better the price point wouldn't have mattered. 2 stars only because it isn't the worst manicure I've had, but at the price point they charge, I have way higher expectations….

First time visiting Meraki Nail Lounge, and you're greeted right away. The place is beautifully designed. The employees are friendly. I was a walk-in early Saturday morning and wanted a gel manicure and pedicure. My technician was JP. He moved very fast, and at times, his techniques were harsh throughout the process, and not quite listening to what I was requesting. I had cuts on my toes whixh bleed while there, and my nail beds were sore. My nails started peeling within 5 days. Now, before you say anything, I wasn't doing any type of hard manual labor. Even washing dishes, I would wear gloves. Going back could be a possibility to see how the other technicians are, but if so, definitely not with JP. Upside: The place is bright, open, and beautifully maintained, and they offer free beverages….

Downfall, one set of nails turned out terrible. The clear polish bubbled and just looked so messy. They did not give any foot, leg or hand massages like other salons do (that is our favorite part is the massage), and also, they don't offer lotions once you are done.

As a mother excited to spend quality time with my daughter, I was eager to treat ourselves to a manicure and pedicure package at the nail salon conveniently located in the heart of Walmart. The prospect of people-watching added a unique charm to the experience, but unfortunately, our visit left much to be desired.

From the outset, it was clear that the salon was not conducive to intimate bonding moments. I WILL NOT COME BACK. Constantly having to remind the staff about missed details detracted from the relaxation we had hoped for. The older woman overseeing the salon quoted us a hefty price of $130 for the package, which was supposed to include drinks—a promise that went unfulfilled.

Moreover, the quality of service fell short of expectations. Rather than providing a serene environment, the rushed and seemingly indifferent demeanor of the staff left us feeling undervalued as customers. Basic requests, such as adjusting the technique used to work on my nails, were met with reluctance.

As a business owner myself, I understand the importance of delivering value to customers. It's disappointing to see a fellow business fail to prioritize customer satisfaction and deliver subpar results, especially considering the premium price charged for the services.

The younger lady was pleasant and I gave her a tip for her helping me book over the phone.

In conclusion, our visit to the nail salon at Walmart was a letdown. Despite the convenience and potential for enjoyment, the lackluster service and disregard for customer experience overshadowed any positives. It's evident that there's room for improvement in both the quality of service and attention to customer needs….

3d time wasn’t the charm
I waited on this review hoping to receive a call from the owner, however this did not happen.

1. Booking
Each time I booked(twice) online I have chosen a specific individual. Being particularly new to PC and this establishment, I’m not aware of what each employees speciality is/is not.

The second time I booked. Upon arrival, I was not serviced the tech I booked. I chalked it up and continued, figuring it was a fluke.
The third time in booked a Gel mani and pedicure at 12 with Jenna. I received a call the previous day and was asked to reschedule for 2 and that Jenna would service me(specifically the individual on the line asked me “with Jenna right?”)

2. Arrival at Establishment
The second arrival was meant with “radio silence” I sat there and waited, until I was greeted by Samantha and told “I thought you were someone else.” I wasn’t sure what that meant as I assumed when you book online you(the client) log your name. I was not asked who I was while I waited.

The third time I booked ultimately turned me away from this establishment. Upon arriving I said “Good morning”, and walked over to pick my nail color. About 2-5 minutes in I was approached by an employee and asked what I was here to get. I stated, “ a mani and pedi with Jenna.” She walked away and after picking my color I sat down. I waited and waited and no one came to speak to me. The employees were going back and forth amongst themselves but did not address me. Jenna walked past me multiple times and said nothing. Finally, Jenna came over to me and said, “are you ready for your pedicure.”

3. The pedicure:
I was under the assumption that Jenna was going to do my pedicure, however, when I asked the tech if she was Jenna( I asked because I thought I was tripping and once again the person I booked was not the person I got) she said “no, Jenna doesn’t do pedicures.) I was upset, but continued to press.

I chose the Deluxe Pedicure. First time, once again. I noticed that the “massage” was quoted for 10-15 with lotion. The massage I received was 5-7 minutes, I timed it. The application of the gel polish after closer examination was streaked and not coated evenly.

4. Sanitization
Before my pedicure I realized that there wasn’t a liner in the basin. I’m
Not sure if one was used at my 2d appointment, but I noticed at this appointment. I also noticed that the nail tools that were used were USED(nail filer, buffer. )This is on me as I should have spoken up. I couldn’t speak to all the tools, however, I didn’t notice the nail tech retrieving the items from a sterile spot. Further, the tech beside me did not use any disinfectant products to clean the basin…only a sponge.

I would have been completely fine with the mixup, however I sat in the waiting area for minutes while everyone spoke around me or walked around and no one addressed the mix up.

5. The manicure
I was seated at the table and as I looked over I wasn’t seated at Jenna’s table. I was under the assumption that “ok, Jenna doesn’t do pedicures but she does manicures.” I was asked my pedicure tech if I wanted Jenna or her to do it. I assumed the person you book is the person you get. Jenna did my manicure and while speaking to her she said she doesn’t normally do manicures and specializes in acrylics. I mentioned to her that it would be good practice to specify that on the website since customers may be new to the area and not know who is who and what is what. She mentioned that there are so many people in the establishment that they want to make sure everyone “shares.” A customer next to me wanted acrylic and I was willing to swap since the manicure I was getting wasn’t Jenna’s specialty. However, Jenna completed my manicure( nail equipment same issue)

Lastly, upon washing my hands I noticed one tech scrubbing the pumice stones with soap and water. Pumice stones carry loads of bacteria even with washing.

Please purchase liners for the basins, individual nail kits for each customer, consider retraining and establish better booking options. Thank you for this service….

For a homestead nail salon this one is a good one, the guy who did my nails did a great job. Very patient with my wedding nails. They don’t do design or maybe just him…but they did have these stickers. Make sure you make an appointment….

Before going to this salon we read reviews to see if it was worth it ..when we got there, their was only one lady doing acrylics so we picked a color and waited my mom went first and showed them the length and shape she wanted the lady cut the nail way too much and when we told her she said it was too late and started doing a bad job the nails where lumpy and weren’t shaped one side was longer than the other .Then when I got mines done(with a different person) he cut them short then asked me if they where okay and barley put any acrylic there where some ends that didn’t have any on it although it wasn’t too bad the nail polish made it thicker he later on fixed my mom’s a little ..the place isn’t too bad but I would not recommend if you like long nails or thick nails . My nails look like it’s only the plastic with no acrylic but the paint job was nice and not too messy…

The owner did my feet, a french and the lines on my nails were not straight and the heals of my feet the next day were rough. It was not worth the 30 dollars. I had stop doing my hands for a full set because there was never any one to do it but the owner and he was always late coming to the shop. I have to find somewhere else. No wonder there always empty….

Nails were good. Nice shape. Reused nail file. 😐
My set only cost $25 so I'm a little concerned about what was used on my nails.

However only 1 person out of the 5 that were working did acrylic nails.
It's a nail salon… Everyone should do them.

The guy who did them was on his cell phone a lot. One personal call fine, but to keep on and on it's rude. He should have just apologized and stepped away to handle what he needed to do.

Then another lady came in and wanted a fill so he started rushing my set. He had one of the other non acrylic workers start hers because she didn't want to wait.
I'm sorry but I was there first. I'm a paying customer I deserve to have a full service too.

I will not be a returning customer.

Three of us came in for three pedicures, a gel manicure, and a new set. Nail salon is clean and modern. Comfortable massage chairs. Good selection of polishes. Had to bring my daughter back to correct two of her nails, when fill was needed. We were charged much more than their “starting” price for the fill. Glad we tried them out, they did a good job painting our nails, but for the money spent on the upgraded pedicures, I would have expected not to feel rushed and to have gotten a foot massage. Giving four stars because they are newer, and they were friendly. Hopefully they treat each customer as a priority and not rush to the next….
