I have just recently moved to the area and way over due for a fill-in appointment. I look at reviews before contacting a business and did just that in this case yesterday. On Bon Nails website they have online appointments, They had availability for the evening! I booked it and added a note of what I currently have and what I needed. I had immediate appointment confirmation and within a few minutes, Ken called and asked if I could come an hour later, I gladly did so.
Upon arrival, the salon was so clean and very pretty, I signed in and Ken immediately had me at his table. He asked questions verifying information about my nails and my likes and dislikes. He had wonderful recommendations, answered and explained all of my questions. He spent extra time with me making sure I loved and approved of my nails.
Ken and his wife were so friendly, kind and sweet. Everyone there smiled and spoke to me. I was so relaxed and felt welcomed and valued.
I left Bon Nails with my next appointment, beautiful nails and the feeling of being a valued customer and friend.

If you want lopsided ‘oval ‘nails and poor clean up and a nail tech that botches your nails because you’ve changed your mind about the length long before applying acrylic- this is the place for you . I only gave 1 star because the deluxe pedicure was well done . Clearly they aren’t good at shaping nails and should have stated that . Would not recommend and will not return. The nail tech knew he botched my nails that’s why he could not sit to finish my nails correctly with cuticle oil or lotion . Poor poor customer satisfaction. The worst acrylic set I have ever received ….

The pink set was my first set done at Bon Nails with acrylic and tips. The white chrome was my second set (this picture was taken a week or two after I got them done) acrylic fill in. And the last set I just got done is the colorful set and we took the tips and acrylic off and did dip this time, and I no longer need tips or extensions for my nails anymore!…

Today I walked in to see about getting a pedicure as I wanted to give them another try since the location is convenient. Upon walking in no one acknowledged me but a few seconds after I walked in another lady came in behind me & they acknowledged what I thought was me & when I asked about a pedicure she looked at the lady behind me & asked if we were together to which the lady shook her head & the lady proceeds to ask her to take a seat & then she completely ignores me & let’s me stand there before I just decided to leave.

Very unprofessional & rude. Will not be going back….

Came in as a walk in on a slammed Saturday morning. The nails speak for themselves. Absolutely amazing shape, dip application, and design. So beautiful!

Updated: $65 plus a $20 tip for just my fingernails which was fine except one broke 4 days later. Went in at opening to get it fixed (called two days ago to make sure). Said they were too busy to fix one nail and I had to come back in the afternoon. I drove 45 minutes to get there and work evenings so I’ll just have to go to an entirely different nail salon and pay to have the one nail done….

I will drive to Alabama to get my nails done before I walk in this salon again. I decided to give them another try bc they are convenient, close to where I live. I arrived at 5:30 and told them I needed a fill and pedicure. The nail ladies were busy but the pedi ladies were free so they did that first. Great, no problem. She finishes and tells me the nail ladies would let me know when they were ready. In the midst of my pedicure someone walks in and wants their nails done. Instead of telling HER no we don’t have time tonight bc I’m waiting and by this time it was about 6 pm, they took her. So they tell me to wait and after about 30 minutes she comes to me and asks me to come back tomorrow bc the other customers are going to be awhile. Like I haven’t already been sitting here AFTER working all day myself. I asked why didn’t anyone tell me this after my pedicure. She said she told the lady she should tell me, but clearly no one did. Then I went to pay for my pedicure and I get the most careless “sorry” I’ve ever heard in my life. No discount on my pedi for the troubles AND I still tipped this woman for my service. Y’all have left a bad taste in my mouth for the last time. Definitely should’ve told the walk in you couldn’t take anyone else tonight since I was already there, but prioritizing profit over customer experience y’all thought y'all could squeeze one more person in and make double the money. Now you’ve lost a customer who went against her better judgement to give you guys another try for the past several months.***

I saw Lily a few months ago for a full set and pedicure. No issues. Except they charged me $150 which was outrageous, but I didn’t make a fuss I just paid and tipped and left.

Went a few weeks after that for a manicure and pedicure with gel polish. It was one of the most awful nail jobs I’d ever received. Polish was all over my skin, nails were filed crooked, and both services were done in the pedicure chair. My appointment was at 530 so they were rushing to get me out before close.

I said I wasn’t going to go back, but it’s 5 minutes from my house so I decided to go up there this past Saturday 7/29. I got there at 8:40 and the door was open, so I went in and was serviced immediately. That was nice. I asked for the same thing as last time, manicure and pedicure with gel polish. My feet were satisfactory. Except the polish has a black tinted film on it. I get matte top, and never have I had an issue with my polish looking dingy. But the REAL issue is with my nails. My left index finger polish peeled off THE VERY NEXT DAY!!!!!! Several of my other nails were already chipping. There is polish on my left ring finger skin and when I tried to pick it off it started to peel the paint off the nail so I just left it. This happened after close of business Sunday and I work all week so I haven’t been able to go back. Not that I really care to, I’m sure nothing will be done or I’ll just be given another low quality service. I paid $110 for these services. It’s ridiculous to charge $20 for gel polish for both hands AND feet separately. That’s $40 for a $10 bottle of polish.

The ladies are nice though. Only reason they got 2 stars. Services are terrible and products used are low quality.

Service with Emily was nothing better than terrible. I’m extremely easy to please with nails. I told Emily to cut my nails shorter and fill them in as to why I came in. She suggested a longer length but I told her that was still too long and cut them a little bit shorter. PSA you can have short acrylic and it still not come out to NUMBS!
This woman cut my nails so short it was absolutely nothing but numbs left. As I began watching her work that she was rushing through, I could tell her attitude changed because I was monitoring the work she would demand to be paid for afterwards. She began grabbing my hand and not letting the bad attitude or the rushing go unnoticed on her behalf. Fine with me I will keep my tip. [I always tip my nail tech $10 nothing less] as I was leaving I asked the lady about pricing and Emily came from around the corner with a attitude [per usual] telling me I should be charged $5 more.
I said, Emily these nails are disgustingly ugly and you KNOW that! Instead of offering anything at all she just gave me more attitude and told me everything was my fault!
Save your money, don’t pay to be mistreated and undervalued. We work for our money same way they do. Spend it with people who appreciate your business.
Signed a very unhappy customer who will pay someone to fix your SLOPPY job!…

As she was filing my nails she said “you know they are saying you are difficult to work with” “it’s not my turn to do her nails” in a language they knew I couldn’t understand. I have been coming to this salon for two years and generously have tipped way more than anyone should. This was unprofessional, disrespectful and unnecessary. I thanked the nail technician for telling me what they said and decided to go to a different salon. I will not be returning. I’m honestly shocked at how many good reviews this place has, this place is NOT worth the $225 before tip I was charged. I left so disappointed. I stepped in multiple times during the session correcting color choices, areas on the nail, length, and filing issues.. so many times to where I finally just saved my voice and counted this as a loss. I made an appointment and specifically asked for someone who specializes in mail art as I’ve seen amazing work on their socials. Fast forward to this morning where I brought my 5 year old daughter do get her nails done with me (her gel nails were $85, which is absolutely insane for the zero prep done and quality hers ended up being).. Needless to say, I’ve already scheduled an appointment next week at my usual location by the beach….

I left this review over a month ago. The business commented back, but I cannot comment back (the feature is turned off). This business has done nothing to rectify this issue, but instead told me it was my fault & blocked me from leaving another review.

I specifically asked for glow in the dark dip powder AND nail art. They gave me the jar powders to choose from & I picked a neon pink. The nail art was terrible. The dip turned out red & I said something right away. He argued with me that I picked the color, which I did, but it was nowhere near the pink it was in the jar. That night I realized my nails didn't even glow. I went back and he argued with me, constantly interrupting me, that it was my fault because I picked the powder. He refused to redo the dip powder, but finally took the topcoat & awful nail art off and painted a glow in the dark gel over it, which is uneven, & admitted they don't actually have anyone who does nail art….

I wish I could give this place a better rating. I came here about two weeks ago to get a fill in. When I called over the phone, I was given a different price than what I paid (I can’t remember the exact amount, but I know it was different because I was shocked at the price I was told once I was done.) To start, my nail tech seemed very uninterested and was rushing me to pick a color from their selection. When I asked her for advice on which color to get based off of my inspiration picture, she gave me something completely different. During my appointment, things seemed to be going ok. However it did take 1 hour and 30 minutes for a fill with a singular color. I’ve never had a fill take that long, even with a design. When I walked out of the appointment I noticed the details that led me to frustration with my nails: I asked for an almond shape and was given oval. I noticed each nail was bumpy due to poor application and the acrylic was not cleaned up on the sides, making the overall quality of my nails lower. The gel polish was patchy and the edges of my nails were left unpainted. The acrylic was laid on thick. Needless to say, I was upset. I moved here two weeks prior to that appointment and my previous set was done by my nail artist back home, I knew it wouldn’t be easy for me to find someone who matches the quality of my former nail tech but I wasn’t expecting this bad of an experience. I wanted to avoid writing this review, but my experience today has led me to do so. By Wednesday of last week, one of my nails had already fallen off. I decided to go ahead and soak my nails off at another salon and take a break from acrylics. When I go to this salon (which was very pleasant) the technician soaking my nails off points off these patches of color in my real nails. She told me it looked like either mold or fungus. She said if it’s mold, it’s caused by gaps in the acrylic that allow water to get through and sit. If it’s fungus, it is typically caused by unsanitary tools. I do not want to point fingers, but at my last two nail appointments (at lavish and at my previous nail salon) these spots were not on my nails….

I took 3 girls here to get their nails done for prom. They were excited. From the moment we walked in the lady who greeted us at the door was rude and seemed irritated that we were there. We called ahead for an appointment. 2/3 girls were cut while getting their nails done. They have lumps in their gel polish. The man who did one of the girls nails was rude to the point that she was about to cry. The woman who did my daughter’s nails cut her and didn’t even apologize. They ignored the girls when they tried to show them the photos they had of what they wanted. I understand people have bad days, but not one person was friendly. To have a name like happy nails and have 3 girls leave unhappy is ironic. This salon ruined what should have been a good experience for these girls. We will never come back….
