If you get the right person the nails are great and my first two times the manicure was nice. But this is the nail from Monday and it is Thursday. This is a terrible job. I went and showed them the nails and instead of fixing the problem they want the same woman who cannot do the manicure in the first place to do the repair. I let them know I could not do it tonight and the attitude was we are busy on sat. I tip very well and will absolutely not be going back. There are much better options. If they don’t want to acknowledge the poor quality and make it right… why give them the business.

I also had bought my mil a gift certificate they charged her 55.00 for gel nail polish. When she called back and asked why my nails are 34-39 and hers were 55 they said oh you got liquid gel. I am sorry 55.00 for nail polish without fill or tips is excessive and no one said anything to her before hand. Watch out. They would all rather sit on their phones than take care of the customer….

I’m from NJ on vacation in the area. I would not recommend this place to anyone with natural nails!!!!! 💅 I was not given an option to look at the nail polish before the nail tech used it on me. He just give me some fake plastic nails that are colored for me to pick out a color. If you do go there, make sure you check for yourself to see if the nail Polish is new? I went to this place because of the previous reviews. However my experience was not the best. The atmosphere was clean and pleasant. However the man (Thai) that did my mani and pedi used old nail polish on my natural nails. First, he did my pedi. I told him how I wasn’t satisfied with the nail polish color. He did not offer to change the color. Then I told him that I wanted a different color for my nails. Same thing happened again. He used another old nail polish to paint my nails. I told him how I was not satisfied with the paint color that he used on my nails!!! Plus my cuticles looked terrible! He put some kind of oil on my cuticles before I left. I called back a few hours later to speak to someone about how was not truly satisfied. The woman who answered the phone was very rude to say the least! She said “you were happy when you left here!” And then hung up on me. There were several other people there so how’d she even know who I was?! 🤔 I tried calling back 10 times to speak to the owner or the manager. She answered and said “that the manager is out of the country for a month and there is no manager” then she hung the phone up again?! Third time she said that “she is not going to do anything about my dissatisfaction.” I will not be returning there….

Never again. Thought I found my local nail place. I got tap gel / hybrid gel and needed it removed. My nails are bleeding underneath. As you can see – my entire nail is missing, just one layer of nail remains.

I saw a qualified nail tech and she said damage could be permanent. I am in so much pain. The gentleman who did it gave me free lotion – now I know why, maybe he felt bad and responsible.

I wanted to get a hard gel by a technician who does designs, she said I’d be in more pain. So now I have 6-8 weeks to hope everything grows out and really awful looking nails for holiday parties and Christmas photos.

Obviously I won’t be back. So. Much. Pain. Frail thin nails that are bending back even this short. Find a qualified person in a sanitary salon….

I got a gel manicure on Sunday. These pictures were taken Thursday. Over the course of those 4 days, every single nail had the gel polish peel up and start chipping off. Gel is supposed to last way longer than 4 days. I called the salon and asked for a refund because I am not from the area and couldn’t go back to get it fixed. Despite me explaining I’m not even in the state of Florida, they still insisted I try to travel down for them to fix it and wouldn’t refund me. One woman on the phone even questioned me on why I was in their area to get my nails done. It’s none of her business, but I explained I was there to visit my mother in law. The man I spoke to said “Well most peoples nails stay,” which seemed to take blame off the person who did my nails and put it on me. I did no extra work with my hands, so there was no reason for the polish to peel off the way it is. Also, the new owner is the person who did my nails….

They then offered us drinks. I thoroughly enjoyed my pedicure, complete with leg and foot massage. Then on to my manicure. It turned out perfectly, but as soon as I grabbed my shoes I messed up one of my nails. They quickly fixed it at no extra charge and then applied and extra clear coat to all of my nails. I recently visited and had the grossest experience imaginable. The technician Nia used her own fingernail to push back my cuticles during the manicure, which was completely unhygienic and frankly, repulsive. Not only is this a clear violation of basic hygiene standards, but it also made me extremely uncomfortable throughout the entire appointment.

But even though I requested Tom, the last two appointments he shuffled me off to another tech as he seemed to be triple booked. This tech hurt my cuticles, they bled and are still burning an hour later. He almost cut my finger trimming a nail. My cuticles are burning from the rough treatment. I won’t be back. I asked for Nexgen, they use some brand I’ve never heard of my nails came out Grainy was not happy at all three coats of top coat and you can still see the brush marks . The staff there are not friendly what so ever and the girl who wrapped my nails, did not have enough acetone on the cotton that the leftover excessive dip had to be drilled off. Ugh! Called the salon to tell them and spoke to Tom, he told me to come in to fix them, why? Clean and has more seats than it seems from the outside. Lots of colors in all styles. I made an appt and there was no issue with them fitting me in with short notice but they also take walk-ins, you just have to be patient and wait until a tech is available.

If you live in the Villages there's no golf cart path but it's a very short drive. Will definitely be back….

A Disheartening Experience After 9 Years of Loyalty

I never thought I’d be writing this, but after nine years as a loyal customer at Toi Nails Wellington, I’m disappointed to share an experience that has left me both shocked and disheartened.

Last week, I had an appointment at the salon, as I have so many times before. However, my usual technician, June, wasn’t available, and I was taken care of by Vincent. Unfortunately, the service I received did not meet the standards I’ve come to expect. Within just one week, my nails began peeling and chipping—a first in all my years of visiting this salon.

I reached out to the salon to express my concerns, hoping for a resolution that would restore my confidence in their services. I politely requested a credit for the unsatisfactory service so I could have my nails redone by June during my next visit on August 29th.

To my surprise, I received a response apologizing for the inconvenience but also stating that the salon could no longer accommodate me as a customer. They offered a refund but effectively banned me from returning.

This experience has been deeply upsetting, not only because of the poor service but also due to the way it was handled. I’ve always valued the quality and care I received at Toi Nail Salon Wellington, which is why this situation is so disappointing.

After nine years of loyalty, it’s disheartening to be treated this way.

I hope this post serves as a reminder that customer service and loyalty should go hand in hand.

When I got home and inspected it was pretty bad. My feet are still super rough also. $95 later. $75 for a basic pedi. They didn’t even put anything in the foot bath. Just water. Nothing to soak in. I was referred to Toi by my coworkers who most of them come here. I’ve been coming Toi for about 2 1/2 yrs, & to this day I have never been disappointed. Since day 1 this nail salon has never fell short of always being clean & organized. The staff is very friendly & welcoming . My nail technician is Vincent, he is always on time & knows exactly how I like my nails & pedicure. I get dipped/nexgen on my nails & I can go 3-4 weeks, never chipped or broken nails. Our nail technicians were ok, and my dip manicure was fine as well as my daughter's gell manicure but the disappoint came when it came to the design. She took her time, very attentive and great attention to detail, she did every step that a nail technician should do but in my experience so many of them skip it cut corners. I also came towards the end of the day and was the last one to leave. A lot of times, people who have worked all day don’t do their best because they are fatigued and want to get done with their shift which I don’t blame them especially nail technicians. I’m never going back there again. This one woman rolls her eyes when you sit down couldn’t match a nail that came off(very basic service) got up said what do you want then… and wouldn’t do my nails. I felt so uncomfortable but they had already started.
