First, this place only has so many stars because they basically pay people to rate them. 5 stars= $5 off. Not that it will help much with the extreme prices they have. I wanted to get my nails done for vacation, I took a peice of my clothing with me to match a specific outfit. After choosing the color. The nail tech, Annie, was nearing the finish of the last gel coat (I only got gel over my natural nails that I had been growing out), it was time for the seal. Before she sealed, I had mentioned to Annie, who was my nail tech, that my polish was clumpy and goopy. She insisted that it wasn't and started speaking very fast in a different language. She called another tech over and I showed her my nails, she suggested to put sparkle over it and insisted that it was the color I picked out and not the slop job that Annie did. I decided to agreed to try the sparkle (which did not impove it by much). In anger, Annie grabbed the stand my hands were STILL resting on, resulting in them falling to the counter and continued to pack everything with haste shoving all of her equipment in her drawer and demanded that I sit and wait for someone else to do my nails. She expected me to wait AGAIN for someone to be able to finish my nails. Her frustration was evident. I understand that some times people have bad days, and I've never posted a reveiw like this, however I've also never been treated so badly/rude. I called the manager, Nathan, and left my number 3 times within the week, asking him to call me back so we may discuss this incident, however he never called back and was always unavailable. With as expensive as this place is, I expected more from my service. I've also gotten several mediocre pedicures from this place, but never complained, as I understand that they were short staffed and most of the people where new, but never blatantly rude like Annie was. I'll never go back here again. With the direction the world is going now, I'd rather work hard for a service that works hard for me….

Worse experience ever. I asked for a manicure and gel extension. The technician did not give me a manicure whatsoever. She did not prep my hand and simply glued the faux nail to my unprepped nails. When I asked if she was going to take my cuticles off she responded with “yeah I file later” and she sure did. She files my skin raw. Three days later all my cuticle is still there and my nails look awful. It was the most painful nail experience ever. Do not recommend!…

I recently visited Azulene Nail Salon for a manicure and pedicure, and my experience was a mixed bag. Let's start with the positives: their pedicures are absolutely amazing. The attention to detail and the level of care they provide is top-notch. However, when it comes to manicures, particularly acrylic services, I was sorely disappointed. After leaving the salon and taking a closer look at my nails while sitting in my car, I was shocked by the poor quality of the acrylic application. It was evident that corners were cut, and the end result was far from satisfactory.
Dissatisfied with the outcome, I walked back into the salon to request a refund. They wouldn’t refund the $80 for the acrylic nails. Although they offered to fix my nails, I couldn't bring myself to trust them again after the initial disappointment. It's disappointing when a service falls short of expectations, especially when you're paying for quality.
On a side note, I initially requested a design for my nails, but the technician seemed uncomfortable with the idea, so I settled for a solid color with chrome instead. While this wasn't a major issue, it did contribute to the overall feeling of dissatisfaction with the experience.
In conclusion, while Azulene excels in pedicures, their manicure acrylic services leave much to be desired. Proceed with caution if you're considering getting your nails done here, especially if you have specific design preferences….

I go as a treat every 6 weeks or so. I like dip and gel. Nothing special. Maybe I'm old-school, but there was a time when you were not rushed in and out as fast as possible. Manicure included cuticles, shaping, gently filing taking care of nails beds and sides, lotions and pleasant service. The last time I was there I received rushed and rude treatment as if I was a burden. The Manicurist had a filthy station with someone else's nail clippings and filings and used the same dirty towel. I should have stuck up for it myself stopping her. But I didn't. The whole time I'm worried about infection. She did nick my cuticle which bled. So this place can't really call it a spa treatment . Overpriced! I went in for dip. I have never paid over $45 for dip unless I got something extra or my nails were longer. My regular go-to nail salon has gotten worse, so I decided to go back here because I used to a while back. I am not sure how long this will last. The dip was not done how I am used to (dipping in the powder) but was done with an acrylic brush and only 1 layer. No cleaning of the nail area or anything extra was done. My nails are short and they were already shaped so he did not have to do any of that. When I checked out Rose told me it was $65😱. When I questioned it she got an attitude and said you have not been here a long time ago, as in justifying the charge. To make matter worse, she rang me up and the receipt said 66.30, so I asked about that. With an attitude, she said "2% charge if you would have paid cash no fee". Why didn't she tell me that before?
All they did was put one layer of dip powder with acrylic brush, one layer of clear and two 30 sec session under the light. That's it!!! I am not coming back. I love getting my nails done, but I am sick of the lack of customer service and hidden prices. No where on the chart is there dip and the only thing on the chart at that price was pink and white gel!!! I truly believe she just made up that price when she charged me. What a shame!! My nails look fine but I don't care how good of a job you do when you lack care for your customers and have an attitude just cause you can, I will not spend my money at your business….

I started going here a little over a month ago and I went to John I loved the first 2 full sets he did for me. However, on my third visit I asked for my nails to be done like the first picture and the last three pics are what my nails looked like. I was not satisfied and I told him, instead of offering to fix it he said that’s what you asked for on the video you showed and walked off and gave the receipt to the clerk. I went ahead and paid and scheduled to come back the next day. When I arrived I asked to speak to a manager the clerk asked what happened I told her and she told me to have seat at station 6 John’s booth. He redid them and after he finished he told me next time I’ll have to find someone else to do my nails he won’t do them since he can’t do what I like. That really upset me and I felt it was rude. My Mother's Day started great with my pedicure. The young man was very attentive and did an amazing job. I wish he could have done my nails. I was sent to another tech. The nail tech at chair #2 was awful! I showed him a couple of pictures of how I wanted my nails shaped, he was dismissive and inattentive. I had him reshape them and then he said well “Your nails are big”, I think he meant wide but it was still rude. I guess at this point he was getting impatient. The young lady checking in clients who came over and gave a suggestion to put rhinestones on my nails was also nice, and I think she was trying to make me feel better, he then said something quite aggressively in their language which made me uncomfortable. I was just ready to leave. Needless to say, my nails are uneven and he just didn’t do a good job at all. His client experience or satisfaction was not his top priority….

He was done with BOTH services by 2 pm. Started at 1:15pm. When I booked service. Both were to take 40- 45 minutes A SERVICE. It took him less than that for BOTH. Went for a pedicure and requested the paraffin pedi with gel polish. The tech was nice, but I assume she forgot I asked for it because I got callus removal and the basic pedicure without even having lotion or any scrub, etc prior to her painting them. Only once this was done did I mention something and she proceeded to do the socks, lotion and towel. In all salons I’ve visited prior this was done prior to the polish but I again assume she forgot the pedicure I had requested. Even if I did not remind her, I still got a very basic pedicure with little effort. I was also charged an additional 15$ for gel, which is not a big deal but is not clear when advertising the pedicures they offer. Not sure if I just had a weird experience; the overall pricing isn’t bad for additional services compared to higher end salons but I’d try them again. Quality of the paint is decent and again she was very nice….

I went in for a new set and pedicure 9 days ago, and yesterday my middle nail snapped off. I wouldn’t have returned but since i called and they said they would fix it for free, i did. Today i went in and got it “fixed” but the nail looks awful. The woman did not put any pink under the white so you can see through my nails (my other nails had the pink) and she put way too much white and it was a different shape. I would of been fine with it since i could deal with a weird looking nail for a week until i get them redone (at a different place) but when i went to leave, they said it would be 8 dollars. I informed the front desk person that I was told on the phone it would be free, and he said because of the length of my nails, it would be 8 dollars. i paid for the length of my nails when i got the full set only 9 days ago when i paid 130 dollars for a mani pedi. I would understand if it broke off from a fill because nails get old and weathered so they need to be replaced, but before i got them done i did not have acrylics on at all, so after only 9 days, it should not have snapped off (so easily as well) edit: the top coat she put on my nails today is peeling off as well, including on the new nail)…

The acrylic is bumpy, nothing is filed consistently, and the color is missing from the sides. I asked for OPI bubble bath and she did white? THIS PLACE IS AMAZING! I should have done a review sooner! They are kind of new.. I went in bc I was close and had just gotten my nails done somewhere else days before, and they were breaking already. So I went in for a nail repair.
I asked for tips, yet the tech asked if he could do it “a better way for MY NAILS?” I said of course. Well he built the nails out of acyclic and THEY WERE BEAUTIFUL! Still are almost 2 MONTHS later! I’m waiting on these to fall off to start a nail treatment on real nails(they haven’t even started cracking yet). But I WILL continue getting pedicures here until my nails are in better shape.

Been going in since they opened service will be good then it's not so good. I've said to myself several times I'm not going back and I usually don't for months .limited to nails salons in small town so I always end up going back . I went after work 2 1/2 hrs for a set and eye brows . Within half hour after leaving I started noticing my nails was not shaped correctly she used powder and gel so they was super thick . I called next day and said we need fix these . Made appt get there she trys tell me come back in hour . Then why make appt . ? The one lady starts u and another will take over hince why I got powder and gel . Anyway she says she fix it all. She did and at end she tell me I only charge u 10 dollars today . ???????? Mind u I paid 85 day before so I tell her 10 for what to fix ur mistake??? She replied with never mind this time . So no I will not go back I'm gonna drive 30 miles to Gainesville . They do what they want at this shop u may have 2-3 techs working on u for 1 set so communication is lacking . Not to mention all the chit chat between techs in their language I personally think is rude . Their Pedi is lacking to say least no soak time to relaxe all the chit chat u hear. Sad such a nice salon turning in to just a customer turn around not quality. Then want to charge someone to fix their mistake . Never got wash my hands after acrylic set was in before polish . So getting less for more money . Won't be back ever ….

I asked for a standard French pedicure but the staff seemed to have different definitions of what that meant and ultimately, due to miscommunications between the staff, they were unable to deliver a standard French pedicure. I even showed a picture of what I was expecting. I also repeatedly asked what color they typically use for French and was ignored. Unfortunately, I had paid before my toes were finished, the owner was extremely rude with me and no solution was offered. I had a full set done approximately two weeks later, they fell off. I'll never go back my first and last time, I'm not the only person that had the same experience. *****To clarify. I saw Hannah. (I was there with a friend she checked in under her number )she's the second person on the right the girl next to her had to explain what I needed sits on her left, station #1. I was offered a beverage from the small refrigerator next to where the young Male receptionist sits. While both television played food shows on baking So, yes I was there. You should do the nails right the first time so Customers don't have to call back and complain. I attached a picture of the transaction, If the nails are done properly it takes Acetone to remove them after a Month, my Nails fell off over a two week period, when my Nails are done properly by my Licensed Tech I can go three weeks before a fill is needed my lifestyle hasn't changed….

I am writing to express my dissatisfaction with the service I received during my recent visit 2/8/2024 with this establishment. This was my second visit; my initial experience was satisfactory, which encouraged me to return.

However, this time, the following issues occurred:

1. The technician, who seemed inexperienced, attempted to remove my nail polish incorrectly, despite my request for the appropriate method.
2. My pedicure was incomplete, as the technician moved to polish my nails without properly cleaning my feet.
3. Upon expressing my concerns, I was met with an unprofessional response from the individual at the front desk, suggesting I take my business elsewhere.
4. After inadvertently leaving my phone, I was compelled to pay $30 for the brief and unsatisfactory service to retrieve it.

I felt humiliated by the treatment I received and the manner in which my feedback was handled….

I got an eyebrow wax this evening for the first time here. After waxing, the lady put some kind of liquid/cream on my eyelid. It immediately started burning, but I just thought it was the normal oil they put on afterwards. My eyelid looked like this as soon as I got home and it’s extremely painful. Looks like a chemical burn to me. The lady was extremely nice and gentle, but I don’t think I will be back here, at least for a waxing….

Went in while in town for a quick visit, needed a pedicure/gel polish and dip powder redo for my nails. Should have gone elsewhere. The powder job on my nails is not smooth, she didn’t clean my nails well, and didn’t take the powder evenly to the base of my cuticles across my nails. I didn’t want to embarrass the tech so I called immediately after walking out to request a portion of the money paid; they refused. Offered for me to come back so they could “fix it” but I communicated several times while she was in the process of doing my nails that they did not look finished. Not to mention that my daughter and I had already spent two hours in the nail salon, and my daughter was hungry and tired. Pedicure was also not good; it was rushed and quick, “massage” was all of five seconds. Too many other salons in the vicinity to waste your time, and money, here. Walk a few more steps or drive another minute away for better treatments and services. Bad business. I would not recommend….

My daughter went here today per her roommate's suggestion. Unfortunately, she had a terrible experience. Not only were the gel nails thickly applied and lumpy, the technician failed to cut the cuticle and left polish all over the skin. Despite her dissatisfaction, she still left a 20% tip.

She immediately called me from the car and explained the situation. I told her to go back in and ask them to remove the gel nails. The owner was rude and refused, and told her the paint would come off in the shower. She ended up going to Venus nail salon and they fixed her nails for $10 plus tip. My college age daughter does not recommend this nail salon….

As someone that was referred by a friend, I made an appointment with Anna. After waiting 30 minutes, I was instructed to go to Cassie. I expected my expectations to be met however they were not. Though Cassie was very kind and tried her very best, I was not happy with my dip nails and I was still charged full price. I’m not sure why I wasn’t given to Anna as my appointment was specifically with her (which I mentioned multiple times), however what I paid for the designs were not worth it. They were not precise and they my nails were clumpy after the designs. My toes, which has never ever happened before were clumpy and not filed straight as well. They had specks of my nails which showed that the nail wasn’t smooth before being painted. Sadly disappointed with my services however, workers are kind.

Edit: My nails ended up breaking and chipping in less than a week. I ended up going back on for repair and Anna accommodated me. Her designs were precise and cleaner. She was so very sweet and her work is absolutely amazing — she served amazing customer service!…

HORRIBLE experience, very disappointing! I decided to try a new nail salon but this one was a bad choice. All I wanted to do was get a nice relaxing mani/pedi bc I've been stressed. Do waste you money or your time. I took my two granddaughters to have a manicure. They asked for a design on their nails and was rudely told they couldn’t have them they didn’t do designs. But clearly on their Facebook page it showed photos of kids with design nails. The man did their nails, took about 6 minutes for each girl. Did not trim cuticles, shape very well or paint very well. At check out I was told $35.00 so I handed him my gift cards and he very rudely said that those were not his gift cards and I must have purchased them somewhere . I showed him his name address and phone number. On the cards. Next he said that they were expired and he would not take them. I told him I had checked online and the cards had $10 on one and 25 on the other and the gift card had no expiration date anywhere on it. Finally his wife speaks up and says that they did have those cards but it been a while since they had use them. He still did not want to take them saying they were expired but I pointed out they had balances on them. He finally offered me $20 off the bill which I took at that time regrettably my granddaughters were embarrassed at his actions and their nails. Firstly I want to say that the staff here are very nice. No complaints there. I got my first ever acrylics here a month or so ago and they were plain black almonds that looked amazing! So I decided to go back in and ask for black French tips since the full black grew out more noticeably. This is the sloppiest French tip. The lines are uneven and there’s even a chunk of black gel polish stuck under my right ring fingernail that the man tried and failed to get off, and it’s clearly visible through the pink part. I’m so sad, I just wanted nice nails, I never get my nails done. $45 was not worth it for this. If you do come here, get something simple. Again, no hate to the staff they were so friendly just inexperienced in what I wanted….
